(The report) .... cited a series of staggering statistics showing high rates of divorce, unwed childbearing, and single motherhood among black families. “The white family has achieved a high degree of stability and is maintaining that stability,” the report said. “By contrast, the family structure of lower class Negroes is highly unstable, and in many urban centers is approaching complete breakdown.”
Nearly fifty years later, the picture is even more grim—and the statistics can no longer be organized neatly by race. In fact, Moynihan’s bracing profile of the collapsing black family in the 1960s looks remarkably similar to a profile of the average white family today. White households have similar—or worse—statistics of divorce, unwed childbearing, and single motherhood as the black households cited by Moynihan in his report. In 2000, the percentage of white children living with a single parent was identical to the percentage of black children living with a single parent in 1960: 22 percent.

While the Moynihan report focused on disparities between white and black, increasingly it is class, and not just race, that matters for family structure. Although blacks as a group are still less likely to marry than whites, gaps in family formation patterns by class have increased for both races, with the sharpest declines in marriage rates occurring among the least educated of both races. .....
These differences in family formation are a problem not only for those concerned with “family values” per se, but also for those concerned with upward mobility in a society that values equal opportunity for its children. ...

White boys in school emulate the blacks because the white girls in school passing out the poon,think the black boys are cool.The white boys want some lovin too so they emulate what the white girls think is cool. Pants down around their ass , hats on backward listening to crappy music played as loud as the eardrums can stand.

I would not bother to criticize minorities as a race, it doesn’t interest me and I don’t think it’s a valid approach.
BUT I am minding my own business, family emigrated here after slavery, lived in the liberal north, suffered our own discrimination .... and somehow, I as a “white” am racist and all the problems of the world and especially blacks are mysteriously somehow my “fault”. And billions of tax dollars have to be given to minorities due to my nonexistent transgression.
This is why social and fiscal conservatism are joined at the hip.

You’ve said it as well as anyone could.
I don’t participate in “brown skin worship”. And anyone who wishes that Western Civilization and values be preserved, shouldn’t, either.
Our civilization wasn’t created by “people of color”. Why has it become so dangerous to say as much?

I can accept what you have seen. But having seen as much, how do you expect these young Hispanics to vote (those who are able to vote) come election time?
And these people are glorified on various so-called “reality shows” which normalizes these people, like Honey Boo Boo and “Teen Mom” and those other sick shows. This is what a civilization falling apart looks like.

Interesting observation on your part, and have to say it rings true. Minorities and those who’ve grown up in lower socio-economic classes do tend to view the Government as the source of power and wealth, so stating a problem without citing the Government as being the source of the “cure” would ring the racism bell.
I don’t discuss politics with them and have never heard any indication they vote at all. But with many fairly recent immigrants, and I’m familiar with quite a few from a different part of the world, the Republican party isn’t really selling anything to attract them (with the exception of family values in certain cases — but they tend to ignore that at voting time). Not small government, gun rights, etc. They pretty much all look to big government to “fix things” (seemingly not realizing gov more often creates the problem, and they all know about corruption) and to “provide things”. They all had experiences in their former countries where government did provide things in their little village — such as infrastructure, better quality housing, medical services — that they never would have had otherwise, and it is understandable how they get the idea of “government as a benevolent provider”. Although some turn into successful entrepreneurs or other producers amazingly rapidly in this country, others never get beyond the “wait for something to be provided” mentality and these go heavily democrat.

Planned Parenthood has been trying to deny what you have just surmised for years. It is true that the majority of these drugs render the womb less receptive to implantation. I was amazed to find out that there are also natural causes that induce this same effect sometimes and many females do not even know or realize. I learned all this while studying Todd Akin’s career killing comment on what he understood the research to show. After reading about so called “natural” occurrences, I can’t get the Monty Python sketch out of my mind about how every sperm is sacred.
make food stamps and welfare only get fruit and veggies, now that is what the GOP should be calling out this handout first so called lady.
