Doug Ross:
NBC is America's answer to the Soviet Union's Pravda. It serves as an unofficial public relations arm of the Obama administration.
It has been caught -- on numerous occasions (e.g., here and here) -- editing video and audio clips to advance the Statist agenda.
And it routinely censors news. Like today, when President Obama's nominee for SECDEF, Chuck Hagel, beclowned himself in a Senate hearing that was, by turns, embarrassing and horrifying.
And how did NBC handle Hagel's denouement...?
This is really getting ridiculous... WHO is it that even watches -and allows themselves to be condescended to by- like this letter-network stuff...?
Perhaps it simply serves a cheerleading role for Obama voters who will probably NEVER admit the damage their stubborn, willing ignorance has done to this country... in a way, NBC's telling the dumber (and/or weirder) half of the country just what they want to hear- and JUST what Obama wants them to hear, as well.

It’s the whole damned media that is the United States Pravda, not only NBC.

Simple. Look at the cable side. In the coveted age 25-54 demo, MSNBC is not that far off from Fox.

How often do we have to have the football jerked away?? He will be confirmed, Graham and McCain will vote for him. All their “tough questioning” was just showboating IMO.

Sadly I agree. It would be a pleasant surprise to see this nomination defeated, but I suspect that 90+ of them will vote to confirm. I'd love to be proved wrong on this.
(But even if they did, the next nominee would probably be even worse and I doubt that they would deny confirmation twice.)

I have a strong feeling this isn’t going to end well for the country, or the alphabet propagandists.

Your opinion is right on the mark, Graham’s reeelection is looming, that’s why you have and will be seeing a whole lot more of him in the news.
Graham and McCaine ‘mind melded, a long time ago.

If the GOPe in SC will put forth a quality candidate with high name recognition for the low info voters, Graham will lose in 2014.

[If the GOPe in SC will put forth a quality candidate...]
We have a huge problem here in SC, over the years the liberals from northern states have migrated here to escape the laws they helped to implement in their home states.
Graham has tapped into this truth and will ride that horse as long as it works for him.
I wish there was a Conservative candidate to offer but, unfortunately, Conservatives have been painted as a bain of the republican party.
I’ll do my part, small as it may be but at least, I’ll be able to sleep at night.
