How often do we have to have the football jerked away?? He will be confirmed, Graham and McCain will vote for him. All their “tough questioning” was just showboating IMO.

Sadly I agree. It would be a pleasant surprise to see this nomination defeated, but I suspect that 90+ of them will vote to confirm. I'd love to be proved wrong on this.
(But even if they did, the next nominee would probably be even worse and I doubt that they would deny confirmation twice.)

Your opinion is right on the mark, Graham’s reeelection is looming, that’s why you have and will be seeing a whole lot more of him in the news.
Graham and McCaine ‘mind melded, a long time ago.
