I hate every single one of these. Yet I’m sure the would-be fascists will try again and again to get their wet dream through.

Aside from the obvious, the other thing I take from this is that Cooomo & Co. also realize that there aren't a lot of cops outside of L.I. that want to risk getting an extra hole shot in their asses while trying to enforce it.

As much as I hate to cite Slick Willy as the stereotypical 'stopped clock twice a day' blah blah blah, he said it himself (for his own reasons): those of us out here live in a different world than those who sequester themselves in the halls of power and wish to lord over us from On High.

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

New York City is a place where you can buy anything you want if you can pay the price. These restrictions would only expand an underground firearms market that already flourishes.

"Continue to allow pistol permit holder's information to be replaced to the public"

I've seen this list several times now, and this one item is stated exactly the same each time. It's so badly written, that I only half understand it.

We need to start looking at different ways at building support and getting information out there to those people who can help us salvage whatever is left of the greatness our nation was built on.

We can't deny the enormous amount we have lost as a nation, but we must also see that there is still remnants of that greatness that has survived. That part of our culture must find a new way to expand the power of that ideology. We are living in a post-constitutional era. We have been losing ground for decades, and must realize we need new strategies to have any chance.

We face a tyrannical government that has a powerful media network behind it that reaches more viewers than all other media. They are threats to our liberty the same as any politician, or any force willing to follow unconstitutional orders against innocent American citizens.

Our society is full of people who are extremely ignorant about the Constitution. It's something that affects all levels of our society. It's a problem with our politicians, law enforcement, and military personal just like it is with the rest of us. Most of these people are intelligent, but have never been educated in a meaningful manner on the subject.

A lot of us admittedly have a lot more to learn when it comes to the Constitution, and have taught ourselves almost everything we do know. Most of us can think back to when we had some very ignorant views, or didn't have an opinion on some issues that we see as a very irresponsible position now. I know there are some who have been well educated and/or interested in the Constitution from a very young age, but they are unfortunately an exception to the rule. It's more of a failure of society overall, and an intentional strategy to erode it's meaning by those who oppose it.

We can only do so much now. Some people, across the age spectrum, have been waking up to the truth recently because of recent events. Unfortunately some will never wake up.

I know there is a lot I still need to learn. I know that without taking a personal interest in learning about the Constitution I wouldn't know much of what I do now as well. I think an effort to teach people in a respectable way is something that should be worked at. There are intelligent people out there who are in positions to defend the Constitution, but who know little about it. Many can be reached.

There are many law enforcement members who are not given adequate training with firearms, or the laws they are meant to enforce. They must either teach themselves, or end up like many do in a situation where they look bad. Increased training with firearms, Constitutional training, and a much more in-depth study of the laws they will enforce would be a great example of getting something positive done at one of the many levels of government that need help. Especially when it comes to gun rights, and other situation that could go bad if some LEOs aren't sure about the law.

Starting over from the ashes of our monstrosity of a government, and starting anew is probably the only way we could even have a chance to work everything out on a larger scale. Our education system needs a K-12 in-depth study of our Constitution among other things.

I suppose my old Marlin Glenfield Model 60 with its 17 round tube magazine (.22LR) is now considered an assault weapon. I received this rifle in 1962 for my 16th birthday. That’s when I graduated from a pellet gun to a 22.

What this law said is that New Yorkers live in a totalitarian state, have a dictator for governor and have lost all formerly guaranteed constitutional rights and freedoms.
