Correct. You see them claim that the science of evolution and genetics is itself evil and crated as an insidious plan to promote atheism and godlessness. Unfortunately for them, the person who discovered modern genetics was a very devout Roman Catholic friar, so this goes against their talking points. Thus they simply completely ignore him and pretend "Darwin" invented genetics when in reality Darwin knew and said absolutely nothing about genes or chromosomes.
The only thing I hear criticized is the ToE.

I think the main objection to genetics is using it to produce genetically modified foods and to use genetics to justify abortions.
Because genetics is so closely tied to stuff that’s controversial, it gets the blame rather than the people misusing it.
My concern with genetics is that we know so much, enough to be dangerous and don’t understand the full implications of all the genetic manipulation that scientists are doing.
Our technology has far outstripped our ability to wisely use the knowledge we have.
Unfortunately for your simple-minded propaganda, science can be hijacked by epistemological blinders (such as naturalistic atheism) as well as by politicians (Lysenkoism, gore-bull warming, feminism, enforced 'Darwinism').
Try reading Wikipedia on Lathrop Stoddard (Harvard PhD) if you want more about the Nazis & eugenics (direct application of, shall we say, selective breeding).
