PAT BUCHANAN: There are three million ArmaLite rifles -- those Bushmaster types -- out there right now, and people are buying them like hotcakes. Every gun show, the sales are up enormously. Forty-one percent, they were up in December -- for last December -- which was a record year. John, what is common though, Eleanor [Clift] is correct, the push is going to come on three things: grandfather in the assault weapons that are here now; to try to outlaw assault weapons, outlaw magazines that carry more than 11 or 12 bullets; and also background checks at gun shows.

Agreed. They are GRAVE DANCERS and we should be prepared to call them that at the very moment they try to inact this current plan of theirs.
And if the time ever came it wouldn't be anywhere near 99%, nationwide they would be extremely lucky to even get 50%. In fact, I'm guessing that in many of the really pro-gun areas of the rural south and west (where most of the guns are) they would be lucky to have even a 10% compliance rate. (Of course you will always have a percentage of mealy mouth Mr. Magoo's that will dutifully march to the ovens...)
And how many of the following:
SKS
AK
Remington 740 series
BAR
M1 Garand
M1 Carbine
M1A1
FN49
FAL
G91, CETME, etc.
G43, Hakim, Rashid, SVT-40, and other "collectables"
And then we can talk about the 7,000,000+ Remington 700s out there, which is a small fraction of the optically outfitted "deer rifles".
The largest number of rifles in the world reside in the hands of the American citizenry. Molon labe.

You are 100% correct. My Dad, rest his soul, always said “love your country, don’t trust your government.”
As a side note, our media, especially MSM, has gone from reporting facts and offering reasonable comment to a one sided propaganda machine, largely controlled by the government and liberals. The lessons learned in advertising are now being turned on our general population, starting with our schools. One can only hope that the internet will continue to exist and that enough of the population will be home schooled or attend private schools to preserve the principles of a free society.
I’m with you - i think that’s their strategy. Put something out there that is over the top, way too much. Then “settle” for something much less. Yet our freedoms and liberties and rights are eroded little by little. We are frogs in water that is already very warm.
You really think the government wouldn’t use armor and air power, up to and including nukes?
A rifle behind every blade of grass.
It takes soldiers and airman to man these. I don’t think our troops will go for that. Our men and women in uniform are well aware of what is going down.
The local on base store gun section has been packed since late last year. Prior to that the gun sellers were begging people to look at guns.
Buchanan: “There Would Be A Revolution” If Government Confiscated Weapons
Almost correct.
There would be open warfare, direct combat if the Government attempted to violate our Constitutional Rights and take our legal weapons.
What the Government always needs to keep in mind is that it would be asking police officers to go against their own family members, the friends their neighbors. Many would refuse. The next logical Government step would be to use the Military. Here again huge numbers would refuse for all the same reasons. More importantly, I believe that huge numbers of the military would at this point take a stand against the Government.
Good point on Mohammad/Malvo.
30 rd P-Mag is $30 to $45.
Both are sold out in stores.
“What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.”
— Thomas Jefferson to William Stephens Smith, 1787. ME 6:373, Papers 12:356
“Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.”
—Tenche Coxe, The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788.
The founders knew this could happen=research it even they said it was a God given right that when a goverment became tyrantical to take up arms and overthrow it. Lokks like that time it getting closer every day. God save our country—but for me I am like Patrick Henry-give me liberty or give me death!!
What is meant by the term “boil the frog”?
What is meant by the term “boil the frog”?
Is making them sh## their pants out of the question?
Ahh so.
I pity the fool who ever attempts to intimidate voters in that manner in my community.
