The VVAW's FBI file clearly states that Kerry was present when they voted to assassinate 5 Senators, but hey, he's just another moderate. Now we have gun control coming from the Dems and we know the VVAW were stockpiling weapons to overthrow the government. And how did they pay for all the guns and ammo,.....drug sales. Now NBC says on the air that we were mistaken about the AR15 in the school and then says he had 4 pistols to do the shooting. Then, to top it off, they show a video of the "long gun" in the trunk and it's a Saiga Shotgun, not an AR15. I don't even know if there is any evidence an AR15 was even at the crime scene. The med examiner says all were shot with a .223. First reports were he shot himself with a 10mm. Now we face an assault weapons ban and he may not have even had one at the school. I have contacted all of the above people with links to the film and stories. NOBODY CARES!!!

John Kerry supposedly shot and killed a 14 year old enemy in the back as he was running away. I have nothing against that either. The enemy is the enemy, no matter the age or which way he is running but it sure is not something to brag about. You do your job and shut your pie hole.
Some of us do! I too was discharged in 1972 I was awarded a Bronze Star with the “V” Device and a Purple Heart. The key to this is I was awarded these by my Country, if my memory is correct Kerry applied for his. I may be wrong but fake valor needs to be pointed out every time it surfaces and I believe Kerry is as fake as they come.

So for a brief moment....let’s go over the story how he got the discharge. Toward the last year of the Johnson administration...Henry Kissenger was in charge of the Paris talks with North Vietnam. Some funny stories popped up over the US dragging its feet to end the war. Even the Vietnam government today admits that they can’t understand why things weren’t settled at that point.
Enter young Kerry....back from the war...with a different prospective....and he can’t understand these rumors of stalled talks. So Kerry does a pretty stupid thing...he goes off to Paris and wants to find out the facts, while he is in the Naval Reserve and holds a security clearance. At the end of his personal fact-finding mission....he has concluded that Kissenger is personally stalling the talks and it’s the advantage of the Republican Party....namely Nixon.
So Kerry comes back and tries to talk about this mess with members of Congress, and the Pentagon finds out about the wild travels and talks of this young brash naval officer. He gets dragged in...given charges....and kicked out. Until Jimmy Carter comes around with his upgrade program....Kerry is destined to never amount to any thing.
Kerry may be an idiot (I won’t argue with that discussion)....but how he got the bad discharge might be worth discussing. We ended up wasting another three years in a war without much value....all because of Kissenger’s delay tactics.
The allegation of Kerry originally receiving a less than honorable discharge is easily provable and here is my logic.
When the North Vietnamese were negotiating with the U.S. in Paris, Kerry attempted to directly interject himself into the negotiations. At that time, he was still a member of the Naval Reserve. Since this action is prohibited, the Navy showed it’s displeasure and awarded a less than honorable discharge. When a service member receives a less than honorable discharge, their awards (personal and military) are stricken as well. When Kerry was running for President, on his website were three documents regarding his Silver Star.
The first was the letter of transmittal signed by then Vice Admiral Elmo Zumwalt, who I believe was CINC Naval Forces Vietnam and it was signed in 1969. The second document was the citation which is a somewhat detailed narrative citing the actions taken for the issuance of the award; and the third document is the award itself signed by the Secretary of Navy.
In Kerry’s case, the SECNAV who signed the document was John Lehman, who was SECNAV under Ronald Reagan. In 1969, SECNAV was John Ball.
I believe that he was awarded a less than honorable discharge and his medals were stricken. When President Carter decided to upgrade the “bad” Vietnam related discharges, Kerry applied for the upgrade and when it was approved, he also applied to have his medals and awards reissued and Secretary Lehman did so.
I am very confident of my facts because Secretary Lehman was a Navy Reservist and there was a concern over the impartiality of the officers doing his performance evaluations, since he was SECNAV and could ultimately have a negative impact on the rating official’s career.
Kerry lied and has been lying for almost 40 years. Actions do have consequences.

A Dishonorable Discharge is a punitive discharge that can ONLY be given as a result of conviction by General Courts-Martial. It can ONLY be given to enlisted personnel. The equivelant for a commissioned officer is Dismissal from the Service.
When Kerry was running for President back in 2004 I took a quick look at the paperwork his committee supplied the media. The first thing that got my attention was the date on the DD214 - six years after his commitment to the USN had expired. WTFO? The I remembered the “Peanut's” first action after being sworn in in January 1977 - near blanket re-papering of all the “bad paper” discharges from Vietnam.
Then there was that phrase “upon a review of a board of officers”. I took a look at my enlisted DD214 from July 1970. It was honorable and did not include that phrase.
IMHO.. Unfortunately the dimocratic party attributed their defeat in 2004 to the fact that their candidate had too big a history instead of being a flawed candidate. So, based on that opinion the dimocrats ran a candidate with no history in 2008 and won.
The rest, unfortunately is and will be history - all of it bad!
Don’t forget the push to get ex-Senator Hagel into the Defense Dept.
