Ann Barnhardt declared a tax strike and had her bank account seized by the IRS in November. She has not posted on her site for nine days. Does anyone know what is going on with her?
A Discussion With Ann Barnhardt About Her Tax Strike
It was a simple question, that would’ve answered the issue . . . if you are not interested in getting to the bottom of it, nor am I.
Or simply hyperthyroid, medically. Like a LOT of women, who are quite focused and quite agitated and difficult to be around, and OFTEN quite right and correct.
This is a very high functioning pissed off female.
Your point in this post seems to be that somehow there is some “feces” being consumed. “Feces” as defined by WHOM?
Because, FRiend, please remember the casting about of “insanity” which was used by the Soviet system to permanently remove ANY against the STATE. Would not be so quick to jump on THAT bandwagon. She is an enemy of the STATE, and they are coming after her. Talk to her former clients— and you will understand she is NOT insane.
Your guesses would all be wrong. I don’t need to go into detail.
I like her stance on Islam. As far as not paying ones taxes? Good luck with that!
Only makes the part of the anatomy least likely of use to be intellectually enhanced. The behaviour remains, LOL.
I tell you what, if I had half her guts I’d refuse to pay anything pertaining to this stupid and immoral Obamacare, expecially as pertaining to abortion coverage. Of all the crap that bastard has done, this has to be the worst (Thank you Justice Roberts, you dips##t)
I don’t know what’s happened to her. But I do think of her as my “canary”. If she’s still walking around, the midnight knocks haven’t started yet. She’ll be in the first round, for sure.
Maybe you wanted this thread to turn into Barnhardt idol-worship. Who knows? Glad to rain on that parade, if it is the case.
What sort of behavior is that? Scepticism? I’ll agree that it appears to be in very short supply.
You just make stuff up. Your SOP.
As a lawyer, I litigate against the IRS fairly often. There is no legal way the IRS can levy your property without at least giving you the opportunity to challenge it in court first.
First, they cannot collect taxes without an assessment. An assessment of income taxes can ordinarily come about only in three ways: (1) you file a tax return, show a tax due, but don't pay it; or (2) the IRS sends you a notice alleging that you underpaid your taxes, and you don't file in Tax Court within 90 days; or (3) you file in Tax Court and lose.
Even after an assessment, the IRS cannot file a lien or levy without telling you they are going to, and giving you the opportunity to request a Collection Due Process Hearing; if you request a CDPH and lose, you can challenge that in Tax Court as well.
So no one has a lien against them unless they either went to court and lost (twice), or ignored a whole batch of IRS notices.

You don’t have skepticism. Requires a degree of facility with facts. But the optics are entertaining, like bad TV.
1rudeboy
you are really and truly clueless.
I’m betting:
you opened your yap without reading her blog..
you don’t know what she has done for her clients..
you vomit words from your keyboard without watching even a minute of one of her many videos...
you make rude look like a virtue..

Did my comment about Tax Court throw you off? I welcome someone who understands tax law to this thread. Sorry, E. Plur., not you.
Wait a minute, counselor . . . how often have you successfully argued in court that your opponent needs to do your research? Seriously.
I believe she has said she has ignored anything the IRS had to say.
She also publicly told them to f-off.
I’m sure if you took the time to look at her levy notice you would see a case file number.
It was obviously all they felt they needed, cause they did it.

Many hanks for the info!
So if she has a lien on her site, then its gone way past the beginning stages.
Is this whole “tax strike” thing a honeypot to suck in more people?
Saw it happen back in the mid eighties early nineties.....
Oh, boy. I cannot wait to get home and read the FACTS. If no one can be bothered to post them here, I’ll do it just to rub your snout in them.
