A Texas woman was not getting along with her boyfriend's teenage son. She came up with a plan to get the teenage boy into trouble at school.
Heather Hodges, 26 who has two young kids of her own, placed a gun in the teens backpack and then sent him to school. The boy attends the Magnolia Junior High School outside Houston, Texas. Hodges then called the school and warned them that the 13-year-old boy had a gun.
She identified the child by name. Security guards at the school found the 9 mm pistol in the boys backpack. When questioned, the boy was totally shocked when he was told that the gun was found in his possession. He had no idea how it got there.
Police were called to the school were they traced the call back to a convenience store payphone. Security cameras caught Hodges at the payphone making the call. Hodges was arrested.

“Close call, but Im still not sure it was an accident.”
Is she still your wife ?
Yes.
But I changed the combination to the gun safe.
Good luck. If it gets to the point where you’re checking your car trunk for dead bodies, you might want to rethink it.
:)
Hmmmm.... Perhaps you should do what my friend did and quietly change the beneficiary on your life insurance policy too.
He found the policy had been moved out of its normal file one day and knew she was looking at it. Didn’t think a thing of it until after he filed. but by then he was paranoid anyway.
She thought that would IMPROVE her relationship with the boys father ???!

In our shack-up culture, this is the kind of lowlife behavior we get.
Sam was arrested at an airport for having a loaded gun in his luggage, which was placed there by a vengeful girlfriend to whom he had previously confessed that he was having an affair, before leaving for the flight.
I think in his HBO special he said it was his then-wife. I don't recall him saying it was after he told her he was cheating on her, though.
Still luv'ya, honey...
LOL.
I travel a lot for business, and usually I have to take some noob out on the road.
Whenever I pick up a rental car, I open the trunk and look inside right away.
“What are you doing?”, the noob always asks.
“Checking for dead hookers. You never know.”
First, behold what things gun control laws can be used for. (I.e. the police aren't the only people given power by bad laws.) Sort of like how the carry-on baggage of innocent people in Singapore can be slipped some drugs at an airport, and then the travelers subsequently face the death penalty when they are found.
Second, she should be charged for the crime she was framing him for, because he could have been jailed for a long time, not to mention forever losing his gun ownership rights. I think putting all those consequences back on her is only fair.
Third, think of how lucky this kid is that it happened in TX. In how many other jurisdictions (MA, CT, IL, CA, MD, NJ, MD, NY ... ) would the police have just arrested the kid, assuming he was guilty as charged, and without bothering to trace the call and pull the surveillance tape? I have to congratulate the police here for bothering to have the wherewithal needed to discover this ruse.
The porch light may be on, but there ain’t nobody home?
ummm, she’s guilty
(And yes, MD was worth mentioning twice.)
ummm, she’s guiltyI think there is reasonable doubt.
“(And yes, MD was worth mentioning twice.)”
You got that right.
Checking for dead hookers. You never know.
If a crime drama/comedy movie hasn’t already started out like that, it should. With a dead hooker actually in the trunk.
Several years ago a stolen car, engine still running, was dumped in front of my house. First thing I did was go knock on the trunk to see if anyone was in there.
