A double action revolver would fall into the "semi-auto" category.

No, because they don’t reload the chamber by themselves after a shot is fired. You have to manually reload (bring a new chamber into alignment with the barrel) by the discrete action of pulling the trigger again or cocking the hammer, even on a DA revolver.
