Seems like yesterday.
Yes. I remember exactly where I was.
I had just turned three years old, and remember it. I was at my mom’s friends house (Mr. and Mrs. Brown) as they watched me from time to time. They had a T.V.
I also used to get 1 of the Twinkies in the package after my lunch when I was there - the other half with Mr. Brown as he would come home for lunch. They also had a screened-in porch, and that is it for my memories of Mr. and Mrs. Brown’s house!
I wonder if thinking about JFK and looking at my Hostess Twinkie I thought “well - at least I’ll ALWAYS have Twinkies”.
As I got older I could never understand how my old man hated JFK so much. (”He was assasinated Dad!”). He hated FDR even more (”But Dad - he ended WWII!”) I wish my old man had explained things to me back then, although in college I figured out why he dislike them so much.
Lyndon Johnson had him shot, the evil son of a bitch.
Wow, a lot of info to look at there. I have read a story (can’t remember where) about two other foiled plots, one in Chicago and one in Tampa(?) just prior to the ‘the last chance at him’ in Dallas by the group out to get him. Read anything on those 2 other attempts E?
Possible, given the fact the CIA was giving LSD to unsuspecting innocent Americans in the 1950s, while watching them do the chicken from behind two way mirrors in hotel rooms.
An organization that would do that, is likely capable of anything.
Not only did the president get his head blown off, but the cops in Dallas, while posing for cameras, stood and watched as the assassin get assassinated.
One thing is well known, there were many in and out of government who had the capacity and also wanted Kennedy dead.
The entire event reeked.
Here’s a website that has every inch of audio / video footage starting with the first news bulletins through Oswald’s murder and JFK’s funeral:

It’s fascinating to watch.
Even in 1963, you can sense that Walter Cronkite was hoping and praying that a right-winger had perpetrated the horrid deed.
Clinton was a great President?????
IIRC Aldous Huxley as well. Two monumental giants of the idea world, and one pretty useless playboy IMHO.
That’s one magic lugie!
Yep, how many times did they mention the protests against Adlai Stevenson that took place a few weeks before?
And yet in the end, a Commie did it.
It didn’t even matter that it was a Communist who did it. The media was able to spin it to where White Southerners were blamed. They also blamed gun owners and especially military surplus guns.
All that media momentum eventually got the “Gun Control of 1968 passed”. We are still living with that monstrosity tho some parts of it have been mitigated a bit.
That is an awesome site, if you are somewhat interested (as I am) in the biggest lie in history.
Thank you
“I figure that if there was a plot it would have come out by now.....thouh Im still a lttle uneasy with what”
I am speechless that you can make decisions based on logic that goes something like this: Since nobody else figured it out, a lie must be right.
Yes you can know for sure that you were lied to by the US Government. But you still have to think for yourself.
