You’re still operating under the assumption that the Washingtonians from either faction (communist/marxist or blue blood country club bankers) give a rats ass about what happened on Tuesday , or about us suckers that they extort money from under penalty of imprisonment.

They are all still living in fat city.

There will be nothing coming out of DC other than higher taxes and less freedom, no matter which faction is in power.

The sooner the geniuses that post to this website realize that the greatest threat to American freedom and prosperity is the political class in DC and Arlington, that there is no difference between the the political parties, and that they perpetrate a scam every 4 years over who gets to redistribute the working mans cash to their friends, the better.

Romney lost because he is a degenerate scumbag coward who is probably insane to boot.

DC is the problem.

Time for a Constitutional Convention and time to rotate the capitol amongst the States.

“Well, you didn’t vote for Romney and we have 4 more years of Obama. Feel good? I feel that I’ve wasted too many years among a bunch of spoilers. No more. How do I cancel the monthly donation?”

I don’t vote for liberals.

Most people on the forum voted for Romney so you should feel right at home. Even Jim Robinson voted for Romney, so it wasn’t his fault you’re not happy, in fact, you should love this place as it’s been a Romney support place for a long time now.

Romney voters have been posting constantly since he lost. These are your people - why leave?

Ah yes, a bunch of Libertarians decided to not vote or to vote for a different party. Sure hate those folks right?

You might as well give up the grievance according to party, to religion, to expectations, etc.

The world is made up of individuals - many that have not idea or understanding of your preferences and that includes voting.

You can complain all you want but until most of the folks agree with you, you are wondering in the wilderness. That means over 50% of the folks and also means that those that do agree with you are also going to vote YOUR way!

So, get over yourself! Everybody is different and most have different opinions than you do. Except it and either try to change their minds or go away... You are either in a minority or you are not.

As horrid as it is to have Obama remain another four years, the actual aspect of Romney not winning hasn’t particularly bothered me all that much. Which is unique, because previous GOP defeats usually felt like being knifed in the gut.

When Romney reacted to the Chick-Fil-A hubbub with an embarrassingly noncommital “that’s not a part of my campaign,” and then the way the GOP convention refused to allow the very words “tea party” be uttered... things like that alienated me from Romney entirely. And this was after years of his political minions trashing Palin to their elite liberal buddies in the media. Pretty much through with the GOP entirely, at this point.

So far, the worst effects of the election have been the countless two sentence, passing thoughts, idiotic vanities on Free Republic.

Sorry to see you go, old timer.

I voted the RR ticket. Like Jim Rob said, we had no choice. My husband and I are grieving along with you.

dude, you are the one who joined the stupid party. And you are shocked that you find out that the membership is stoopit too.

I am sick of the Romneybots who did nothing for any local candidates and got nobody elected.

I am sick of the anti-Romneybots who did nothing for any local candidates and got nobody elected.

A pox on both yur howzes. Go ahead and ZOT me! Start a thread where peeples have to account for their time on election day. A PUBLIC CONFESSION IS CALLED FOR!

Just to let you know: that myth of the missing 3 million GOP votes? It is just a myth. Check the vote totals around Thanksgiving as they are still being counted. Then you might have some support for the argument - might. It appears more likely that those vaunted Independents that the GOP chases did as they normally do. They lack conviction, so did not vote.

You should start here.

Then man-up.

There's work to do.

Please reconsider...many here did not support Romney initially but recognized the pragmatic reality that there was one person on the ballot on Nov. 6 who could change the outcome, and they voted accordingly. Many are physically and emotionally drained, tired (I hardly slept for 2 nites) and grieving. Don’t leave in haste in height of emotion.

Look in the mirror before you start accusing FR pal! I’m sure almost all of us voted Romney. The problem is outside of FR.

Don’t blame our loss on your fellow conservatives. Blame it on the GOP for once again, giving us a candidate who did not inspire a sufficient percentage of the base to vote for him.
