Somewhat alarmist, but true. Has been since yesterday. Certain towns only.

Martial law is appropriate when there is widespread lawlessness. My friend in NJ was wondering yesterday why they hadn’t declared it.

It’s alarmist, but it must be stated clearly for the record, nonetheless.

If this was Japan...The Yakuza would be taking care of miscreants and trucking in food, water and generators.

There is not a day that goes by, where I don’t wish this was Japan.

I am not so sure that the ‘old mob’ wouldn’t have acted likewise.
The reason they had such an ‘iron fist’ over the neighborhood was they were there to ‘help’ when necessary and when the local govt wanted information etc, the neighborhood knew who really took care of them.

That was one of the biggest complaints for the Korean ‘corner store’ owners.
In the ‘old days’ of the Jews owning the stores, they would live in the building, hire local kids and grant credit.
Of course their ‘reward’ is that the ‘minorities’ hated Jews in todays world.

The Koreans buy up the store, put up bullet proof glass, allow 1 or 2 customers at a time, lock up at 8PM and drive off the their McMansion in the suburbs that plus the Korean aversion to lazy sloths and the language barrier make for a grand time.

Naturally ALL Jews or Koreans don’t fall into the above categories - just a scenario...

Come on Laz, this is a Youtube video, from yesterday, about one island off the coast of New Jersey. When did the Governor declare martial law? Over what area? Why don't we see any troops out if the place is under marital law? Why isn't anyone else covering it? Is it a conspiracy?

Time was your too busy giving us your, ummm, personal evaluations, to waste bandwidth on stuff like this.

New Jersey law allows Christie to declare martial law:

38A:2-3. Proclamation of martial law Whenever the militia, or any part thereof, is employed in aid of civil authority, the Governor, if in his judgment the maintenance of law and order will thereby be promoted, may by proclamation, declare any county or municipality, or part thereof, in which the troops are serving to be subject to martial law.

Christie hasn't posted any declaration of martial law, on his press release page, but he posted this Christie Administration Announces Pet Rescue Hotline for Residents Affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Thank you.
I didn't want to do anything for Sandy, because it distracts from the real story, BENGHAZI, which is what the MSM wants.

Notice, that they also don't blame Obama.
When it was Katrina, it was Bush's fault.
Now for Sandy, it's:
1.) FEMA's fault
2.) Governor's fault
3.) Mayor's fault
4.) Price gougers...

Everyone but Obozo.

Wish you had one for a “mind if I play through” 0bama at the Benghazi embassy or with blood streaks across his face like the pillar of the embassy.

Martial law is the spirit of Federal emergency perverts.

When they turn themselves over to FEMA (Feds), they are in for abuse of the police state variety on top of everything else.

People need to get out. Local police are not even stopping looters and wildin’ mobs. Local officials are not rescuing their own people.

Up here in the UP of Michigan the little old city that I live in (formerly a mine town) has the siren go off every night at 10:00 PM. It is the reminder that at 10:00 PM it is curfew for all minors (not miners) to be in the house. if caught out on the street, the police (local, county and state can give them a hefty fine of $200.00). some of the youth in the area view this as martial law! The joys of living in a mining community!
