Benghazi-gate: The president reveals a disturbing callousness toward our war dead on yet another talk show. When will he tell jihadists to stop clinging to their guns and religion and fearing people not like them?
During the second presidential debate President Obama told challenger Mitt Romney that he found suggestions that he and his administration were covering up the truth about the terrorist attack on Benghazi for political reasons "offensive." He said he was the one who had to greet the coffins when they came home.
Then they deserve more honor, respect and protection than they were given by their president in remarks made on yet another TV talk show. Appearing on "The Daily Show" Comedy Central, Obama told host Jon Stewart that the killing of our Libyan ambassador, Christopher Stevens, and three other Americans was "not optimal."
Speaking of the administration's response to the assault, which, except for an oblique reference to "terrorist attacks" in the Rose Garden, with no specific reference to Benghazi, consisted of spending two weeks blaming a little-seen Internet movie trailer, Stewart said, "I would say and even you would admit it was not the optimal response — at least to the American people as far as all of us being on the same page."
Obama's appalling retort was to pick up on Stewart's choice of words to say, "Here is what I will say — if four Americans get killed, it is not optimal. And we are going to fix it." Not optimal? The time to "fix it," Mr. President, was during the period before the attack when your administration turned down requests for enhanced security from our Libyan diplomats because it didn't fit your political narrative of al-Qaida on the run, Osama bin Laden dead and GM alive,

This has bugged me. He didn’t ‘greet’ the coffins. He intercepted them. The coffins were in the middle of an ‘Honorable Transfer’ ceremony. Essentially, an Honorable Transfer means that a coffin is not transferred from one form of transportation to another like cargo. Rather, the coffin (and remains inside it) is escorted by a uniformed detail...in this case, from airplane to automobile.
This is not a memorial ceremony or a funeral; and, it is very unusual to put the coffins on display/make remarks during the transfer ceremony. I immediately wondered - are the loved ones present at this psuedo memorial ceremony? Or, we the bodies literally ‘intercepted’ by the campaign, before the family could recieve them, and conduct their own memorial ceremonies and funerals.
It might sound petty...but I am still bothered by this use of the coffins as props.

The is no doubt in my mind that, when Obama and his campaign advisers first heard of the attack in Benghazi where our ambassador was killed along with 3 other Americans, that their first thought was about how the attacks would affect the campaign and could derail it. The murder of the ambassador and the other 3 came at a very inconvenient time, with about 2 months left in the campaign and just before the first debate.
So, the first thought was not about the dead or about the attacks or about Al-Qaeda or terrorism; the first thought in Ooama’s mind and that of his campaign advisers was about, how to spin the event into something completely different from what is was. The message to his campaign staff and to his cabinet was to change the attacks to make them appear as motivated by the anti-Mohammed video. They were not, by any means, let it appear to have been motivated by terrorism, because, the whole mantra in the last year had been that, Al-Qaeda had been decimated and what was left was on the run and insignificant, and that the war on terror was largely won. The Benghazi terrorist attacks put the lie about Obama’s foreign policy on the front burner, and, of course, Obama and his advisers couldn’t afford to let the truth out, and so, for more than a month, everything coming out of Obama’s mouth and that of his campaign advisers, have been total lies.
The ambassador and the other 3 dead Americans, were just bumps on the road of his campaign, and Obama should be removed from office, and, even after the election, whether he wins or not, he should be impeached for lying to the American people so blatantly, about a foreign policy which has put our people in the line of fire, and virtually defenseless. Beyond the impeachment, he should be made to apologize to the families of he dead, and to the American people, for dereliction of duty and for being so uncaring.

Democratic pollsters are looking at the internals of their own polls right about now and telling Obama his chances of re-election are “not optimal”.
No question what their concerns were. . .and they are ‘all’ political. Which is why; first ‘outing’ was against Mitt; for ‘daring’ to to comment on Egypt - when asked, yet - and so, team Obama, mixed their ‘spit’ and fired it off on Mitt - their best scapegoat to ascribe the worst of politcal motives - albeit; they were their own; of course.
Great campaign ad for this duo; show the 'out of synch' laughs; and more laughs; pull away the camera and they are meeting with 'world leaders' - who are NOT laughing. (Pull even farther away; and the American public; not laughing either).
Two birds; one stone ad.
The last day or so; we hear am amused Obama, reminding himself and the rest of us; how Matthews got a 'tingle up his leg' seeing him last Election; and this time around; watching debate; Chris instead; nearly has a 'stroke'.
Obama never fails to amuse himself. Which may explain the mystery of his smile; and his missed cues to 'emote sadness'. He just makes himself, 'tingle'. . .

They watched the whole thing and didn’t send in a fast response team. obama is a murderer once again.
