It Begins…Democrats Introduce Bill to Seal Obama’s Presidential Records

According to Judicial Watch, Rep. Edolphous Towns (D-NY) has introduced the Presidential Records Act Amendments of 2011. That bill would do with Obama’s presidential records what Obama has already done to his personal and collegiate records: Seal them up.

In an obvious effort to protect President Barack Obama, a group of congressional Democrats has introduced legislation to create an official process that will allow the commander-in-chief to keep presidential records secret after he leaves office.

Ironically, Obama revoked a similar George W. Bush order in one of his first official acts as president. In 2001 Bush penned an executive order severely limiting public access to his presidential records. Shortly after swearing in, Obama killed it as part of his much-ballyhooed commitment to government transparency. At the time, the new president claimed that he was giving the American people greater access to “historic documents.”

Proof - or are you just spewing this morning.

What kind of "proof" would you accept, granting that a "full confession" will not be forthcoming?

you said complicit right ? Proof - one thing... and I want fact not spin please.

You never heard of "fast and furious" maybe?

Or doesn't refraining from exercising Constitutional mandates count?

It looks like they think it’s time to “prepare two letters”.

“Or doesn’t refraining from exercising Constitutional mandates count?”

Very familiar with F&F. You have other expectations of Issa ? I thought he was doing very well.

You are still not explaining one example of “complicit” wrongdoing.

Not with Issa per se, but tolerance of Justice's behavior is as ridiculous as the "'rushing to war' against Saddam Hussein" rhetoric.

The House leadership is clearly leaving him to his own devices.

If you won't define that as complicity, you won't accept the law of identity as self-evident, either.

So the Barack Obama Presidential Library will be a lock-box in a small bank on the south side of Chicago?

“If you won’t define that as complicity, you won’t accept the law of identity as self-evident, either.”

So I am to believe that your perception of the House Leadership leaving him (Obama) to his won devices is complicit in F&F ? And you stating that as fact.

And because of what you think, even though the House Leadership is suing the Justice dept. and supporting Issa, I don’t accept a fundamental right of all human beings ie “law of identity” ?

Are you 15 years old ? seriously it’s ok.

The House leadership is leaving Issa to his own devices, not Obama.

And yes I am stating that as fact. Holder would not be able to continue his rope-a-dope as long as he has if said leadership were truly interested in compelling him to give up the information he’s been sitting on for so long.

Furthermore, “fundamental human right?” What the hell are you talking about?

The “law of identity” (A is A) is a term of logic, not human rights. You might want to try googling terms you don’t know, rather than “...remove all doubt” before you try “condescending” like some new toy.

I think they will be able to walk and chew gum. The only way to stop progressives is to drag them out into daylight and expose what they have done.

>>I want fact not spin please.<<

The lack of inaction on the part of Republican leadership in the house and senate on a whole host of issues pertaining to the obozo administration doesn't cause you to pause one iota?

>The borders remain wide open despite 50k murders along the border.
>Fast and Furious all but a headline.
>Republican leadership ignoring proof of forgery direct from a bonafide law enforcement official raises no red flags in your book?
>Obozo’s ties to naked marxist in the past, yet MSM and Republican leaders shy away from exposing it?
>A muzzie bowing to muzzies fails to solicit a response from boner or the majority of republicans in both houses doesn't shake your boots?
>DOJ using the voting rights act to sue the most conservative state in the union to squelch our primary vote for a MORE conservative candidate than Romney doesn't raise the hair on your head much less republicans in leadership?

I dunno, you sound as though your as blind as a bat or you're sippin on the cool-aid.

To us down here in Texas, republicans have remained eerily silent on a whole host of issues concerning the obozo admin.

That doesn’t mean the house leadership is complicit... means it is not a priority

oh for cryin out loud...

you now are stating your opinion is fact....

Oh do tell! I eagerly anticipate your explanation of how the rules of logic become a matter of "human rights" to those of us not suffering from "limited" definitions such as you.

And of course, that doesn't even begin to address your doctrinaire request to "prove a negative" when the "fact" you want proven is an inaction rather than an action.

And you wanted to know if *I* was 15?

You just keep bellowing and beating your chest as you back toward the rhetorical exit.....

That is complicity by default. They HAVE no greater priority than to defend and protect the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Their inaction in the face of the administration's usurpations is clearly a repudiation of that priority.

How do we clean up this mess, ALL our congressmen and women are way to quiet, have you noticed?

Why are they allowing this to happen?

Where are the patriots?

WE live in a society indoctrinated since birth by TV, movies and the MSM, our schools have been infiltrated our news media, our intelligence agencies, congress, and now the presidency.

Serious, where to begin to clean this mess up, ALL career politicians must be voted out, how we change the corrupt media I don’t know , they are owned they are ALL owned.
