Its best to calculate the parameters so the ratio remains relatively fixed. You don't have to do that. If you put either height or width, and omit the other, the ratio is maintained without having to calculate. I found that out one day when I misspelled one of the two and the pic came out great anyway.

In IE and Chrome, if you’re linking to an image from a website, just right-click on the image and choose “copy imgage URL,” then apply the html coding to post here.
Of course, if it’s your own picture, you do have to upload it to a picture-sharing site to get a URL for it.
Here’s the HTML Sandbox from 2011 for handy reference on coding: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2650195/posts

In IE and Chrome, if youre linking to an image from a website, just right-click on the image and choose copy imgage URL, then apply the html coding to post here. I thought it should be that easy, but I don't see that option when I right-click on an image in IE. I checked both IE 8 and IE 9. Do you have a plugin that offers that option?

In IE, right click the pic and select properties to get the url.
I’m using my ipad and do not know how to do it on here.

No, I don’t, but now that you ask and I check it here at work on a version of IE, it does not have the “copy image URL” when I right-click. I must be so used to using Chrome that I confused it with IE.

The true beauty of that is that you don’t even have to know the original size. You just tell it what size you’d like, and it fills in the blank.
If you see a photo and don’t know the size, you can pick 400 for the height (as an example), and it will do the rest.
Up until now, I had to check out the size and make some quick calculations.
Excellent.

He is. I’m fairly confident this is going to turn out good for the Romney/Ryan team.

"I know what you mean. The photo looks like it was taken in the 80s."
We had pajamas like that in the 50's and 60's - cowboy stuff, space stuff, cats and dogs, etc. Good Times.
I just asked mr. hummingbird if I can get some of those - for him to look out for them when shopping.
mr. hummingbird's expression said it all: I'll have to order them myself if I'm going to get them!!!
