Unhappy with President Barack Obamas support of same-sex marriage, a group of African-American faith leaders have announced a campaign aimed at stripping 25 percent of the black vote that went to Obama in 2008 (95 percent).
The newly formed nonprofit group, God Said, will begin targeting voters in Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Florida with television and radio advertising, as well as a grassroots campaign to encourage people to consider the gospel when they enter the voting booth.
The black community is among the most religious in America and we are offended that President Obama has announced his support of same-sex marriage, that the NAACP has blindly supported the secular views of the Democratic Party, and that their national platform plainly supports same-sex marriage, said Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani of RagingElephants.org, and a God Said founder, in a statement. I am confident that this message will be well received and acted upon on Election Day.
The group currently has 22 advisory board members and plans to spend an estimated $1 million on the campaign, a spokesperson told TheDC, adding that its message has support among other faith leaders and congregants, including the Coalition of African-American Pastors (CAAP), which has vociferously protested against Obamas same-sex marriage stance. Some of the CAAP members are on the God Said board.
During the 2008 elections, 70 percent of African Americans voted to ban same-sex marriage in California while they also voted for Barack Obama for president, added Dr. Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and black outreach director of the pro-life Priests for Life. We fully intend to shift 25 percent of the black vote from the 2008 election by charging every voter to examine each candidate and vote for the one that supports their core belief in natural marriage.
The group claims their goal is to give voice to black supporters of traditional marriage who feel like they are not represented by the Democratic Party or NAACP. To be sure, a vast majority of African Americans identify as Democratic.

Black Christians who vote for Obama knowing his crimes against Christianity and biblical principles have chosen to worship the idol of racial loyalty over their discipleship to Jesus Christ. Pure and simple.
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."-Exodus20:3
Incredibly, some blacks have completely forsaken their Christianity for Obama. A fellow PK(preacher's kid) said her parents recently changed their stance on same-sex marriage in support of their black president. I find this remarkable.
Though I disagree, I have been sympathetic and understanding with black seniors who have suffered dearly, with hearts still bearing scars of racial injustice.
A year or so ago, I hosted the first Black Conservative Press Conference at the National Press Club in D.C. Several prominent black conservatives from numerous black conservative groups/organizations spoke. My brother brought my 84-year-old black dad from Baltimore. That evening, Dad said, "Everything I heard today is true. But, because of racism I suffered in my youth, I can not turn against Obama."
At that time, I respectfully gave my hero, my preacher dad, a pass. Some may criticize me, saying, Lloyd, either you stand for conservatism or you do not. While you may have a valid point, it is in my DNA to respect my parents. How do you respectfully tell your usually character-driven parent that his decision to support Obama, no matter what, is rooted in racism and a refusal to forgive?
But now that Obama has been exposed as the most anti-Christian president in U.S. history, senior black Christians must no longer be given a pass for supporting this man.
At stake...."
Excellent news! And very possible considering the kind of pull these pastors have with their flocks.

WOW, all that needs to be said!!!
The government (IRS) and the democrats have turned a blind eye to black churches getting involved with politics as long as they were bashing republicans. For decades.
Now that the tables have turned - I expect to see the government to go after black churches full force
Very cool
“stripping 25 percent of the black vote that went to Obama in 2008 (95 percent).
I hope this is true but I”ll believe it when I see it.
The other day I heard an audio on The Blaze of a black minister saying that any black who votes Democrat are asking to become slaves again. It was a very eye opening tape! I don’t recall the minister’s name.
Same here. Plus I think that they have gotten to this a little too late in the game. They should have done this 5-6 months ago.
hallelujah!
It was Bishop E.W. Jackson E. W. Jackson - founder of the Chesapeake, Virginia-based Exodus Faith Ministries and the chairman of Ministers Taking a Stand. Look under Rush’s October 3rd broadcast.
That’s what happens when your first thought out in the woods someplace strange when you hear banjo music is “Goody!”
Check out the video at Link 5.
Obama can not be happy about their frank talk about him, his policies, his pandering to gays for money, his belief that black Americans are his for the taking, etc.
search for EW Jackson
they’re prob not crazy about all the booing about putting God back into the platform of the RAT party.
It’s highly doubtful they’ll get 25 percent of the black vote to switch their votes and they’ll never get those of the Obamaphone lady’s ilk.
And, how about the murdering of millions of innocents through abortion while they are at it. They need a voice too.
a vast majority of black voters are ignorant of the truth...or else they're racist.
They won’t strip 10%, this is laughable.
