Did anyone else see the red dot visible on Romney's American Flag lapel pin? It was visible from every angle. Here's a screenshot:

Meanwhile, 0bummer's pin looked normal:

Was it perhaps the solder-point dent where the pin was affixed from the backside?

Was it an optical illusion, a flaw in the pin, or what? “It” was definitely there, but what is “it”?

Look at it in this morning’s FoxNews.com’s shot:

Uh? Interesting? I flipped through a few of the other videos...and sure enough it seems to be there?

On a night when looking absolutely the best & sharp, any distraction in appearance is not good.

Although I am thinking it may be some sort of SS camera, but why would they do something so obvious?

Romney’s was bigger and that spot in the middle was a FNORD.

Here’s the answer, from The Blaze:

A Secret Service star, the pin given to him by an SS Agent.

I first noticed the spot on a pin Sean Hannity was wearing.

It was a pin given to him by his secret service detail.

Did anyone notice that 0’s pin was very small when they showed a split screen of the 2 candidates?

I did notice that!

I thought it was a jewel though?

Any links what it was?

Other people have the same thing on their flg pins. Not sure what it is. Obama’s didn’t seem to have it.

Mitt would do better if he doesn’t deface the flag. Shame on the SS.

I also noted that Romney wore a red tie and 0 wore a blue one. I thought everyone in the world knows that red is a power color, and blue is a restful color. Couple that with Romney’s height and 0 just **looked** like the wimp that he is. In our shallow culture which is so fixated on looks, I think that alone will make the difference to a lot of shallow, undecided voters.
