CNN Poll: Obama At 70% Among Latino Voters
(CNN) The latest national survey of likely Latino voters shows President Barack Obama retaining a big lead over rival Mitt Romney in the key voting demographic, matching the level of support he received from Latinos in 2008.
The poll also showed a majority of Latinos said the economy was a more important issue than immigration, and indicated enthusiasm among Latinos is lower than it is among non-Latino whites.

Obama enjoys the backing of 70% of likely Latino voters, according to the CNN/ORC International survey, slightly higher than the 67% of Latinos who voted for him in 2008. Republican nominee John McCain garnered 31% of the 2008 Latino vote. In 2004, 53% of Latinos went for the Democratic nominee John Kerry over the 44% who went for President George W. Bush, according to national exit polls.

Yawn...
According to the 2010 census Hispanics make up 16.4% of the population. Contrary to the spin put out by Hispanic pressure groups, they do not determine elections.
You know, Steelfish...I’m assuming you meant well by posting this but for God’s sake, we KNOW!!,
The Latino vote will go libtards, we KNOW!!!
Put this in the “hardly helpful” column.....
They try to scare us with sodomites, too, but they’re a very small percentage...not very strong-(in many ways.)
With Univision’s expose on Fast and Furious, and the fact that most are of Catholic belief, I can’t believe Hispanics will forgive Bath-House Barry’s stance on “finishing the job” on the poor infants that survive abortion procedures, not to mention the murder of their fellow citizens used as political fodder for the gay guy in the White House.
From what I understand, it depends how long they have been in the country. The first or second generation are more liberal, but the third and fourth generation tend to lean towards Republican.
According to CNN, only 50% of the eligible Hispanic voters voted in 2008 while whites voted at a 66% clip and blacks showed up at 65%.
It is doubtful that Obama will get more Hispanic votes than he did in 2008.
And CNN says that the Economy is the number one issue @ 44% and immigration is a far second @ 14%.
Juan McLame lost 67% of the Latino vote AFTER sponsoring the biggest piece of illegal alien amnesty legislation since the 1986 disaster. there’s a lesson there somewhere for Mittens.
Was that poll taken before or after Telemundo did their expose on Fast and Furious.
Just wonder how many “Latino’s” Democrats are going to try to persuade to vote, even though they may not be citizens, against evil-benefit-stealing-Republicans...and you got to guess that is one reason why Democrats want no voter ID’s.
I guess it needs to be said again...Bush did NOT win 44% of the Hispanic vote in 2004. That figure was based on badly flawed exit polling, and has been debunked from analysts from both the left and right.
In all likelihood, Bush’s share of latinos was in the high 30s to maybe 40%. This was still a good showing for Republicans, but it still represented a double digit loss to Kerry. In other words, a shameless panderer like Bush could only manage at most 40% of the Hispanic vote against a week candidate like John Kerry.
That is the lesson Republicans should take from it; it is yet more proof that Hispanics are natural Democrats for the most part. But of course proponents of unending mass immigration like to push a myth about GWB being so well with Hispanics.

I am confused. The Latinos and Hispanics I know cannot stand the sight of him.......
I swear, this magnificent Country is being destroyed from within by the "votes" of third world dreck.
I heard Rove say that the Latino vote is crucial for many swing states. We can’t ignore the reality. Bush barely won with 44% vote. Had he lost OH, Kerry would have been in the WH!
There is your mistake, you listen to Rove.
If this is true, it’s really sad that the Democrats have turned 70% of Latinos into “free stuff” bums, deadbeats, and parasites.
I am an American of Cuban descent. My entire family and I cannot stand the sight and sound of the Muslim in the White House and will vote accordingly.
Actually, it depends on if they are Protestant, or Catholic.
Bush got 56% of the Protestant Hispanic vote in 2004, and McCain/Palin got 48% of the Hispanic Protestant vote against Obama.
The Catholic Hispanic vote for republicans was about 31% both times.
