The New York Post reported Egyptian-American columnist Mona Eltahawy has been arrested for defacing an anti-Muslim ad in the New York subway system. The video shows her spraying pink paint on the ad while a supporter of the ad tries to block her. She's a journalist for censorship.
Eltahawy, a former Reuters correspondent, has been a recent favorite of CNN and MSNBC’s weekend morning shows to discuss Egypt, and she often smears together the Islamist “right wing” and the American right wing, as she did on Melissa Harris-Perry just 11 days ago [video and transcript below]:

We all realize you are hip and in your small circle of friends you will be praised for your courageous actions. I have a humble suggestion to help you expand your horizons and help you overcome your misunderstanding of the human condition.
You should try to leave the safety of your bubble of friends and attempt to meet with people that get their hands dirty doing work that must be done for society to flourish. I know it may seem repugnant to you , your friends will ridicule you but in the interest of expanding your education try it.
What you will discover a basic fact that has eluded your colleagues for the too long. Talk to a house painter and question why he insists on fixing the leak in the roof before painting over the water stain. Talk to an auto body repair person and ask why fix rust when you can paint over it. Visit a nursing home and find a holocaust survivor and find out why denial is not an option.
What you will discover to your small circle of friends horror is that covering up truth never works. Like a water stain, rust and final solutions the truth will bleed thru any attempt to cover it with a shiny new coat of enamel.
You see, people are not as stupid as you have been led to believe. They might not know all the facts or the true motives behind the attempts to cover their eyes. But they know when they are being lied to and know covering up the truth does not make a cause right.
I hope my humble suggestion will help you be a better person and less the bitter and angry person you portray.
