Holy crap! I thought one only got bias like this from MSNBC about the election.
That is all.

Brees (NFLPA) came close to saying that today - before this game.
If the Seahawk organization had any honor they would forfeit this game.
Godell will do nothing. He is too busy trying to manufacture evidence to support his actions against the Saints. He never thought he would get called on it.
As a Dallas fan, I thought the call in the Viking’s playoff game was great! I am also an NC State fan and had the pleasure of watching Russell Wilson for three years as the starting QB of the Wolfpack. He actually graduated in May 2010, but played that fall while he took graduate courses. He will throw some interceptions, but he will also make some unbelievable plays. No matter how you view that last call, he gave his team a chance to win in what appeared to be very difficult circumstances. He left NCSU in 2011 to pursue a baseball career with the Rockies. He was actually drafted by the Orioles out of high school but decided to accept the scholarship offer from NCSU to obtain a college degree. He spent his last year of college eligibility at the University of Wisconsin where he led the team to the 2011 Big Ten championship and a Rose Bowl victory. Last week’s victory over the Cowboys (who played really terribly) showed what Russell is capable of doing when he is “on”. I just wish that Dallas had had the good sense to draft him! But then, speaking of Dallas management and good sense in the same sentence is a contradiction in terms. :)
I don't see how the refs can spin this.
Betcha the strike is over before the week is out.
Even if they settled tomorrow, I doubt the real refs would be ready for a few weeks..
If you look closely at the replay, the receiver seems to get both hands on the ball at the same time as the defender (left hand is somewhat hidden). The receiver’s right hand comes off but goes right back on as the players fall, and both players keep both hands on the ball after that. The ESPN drama queens read the rule, and the word “chest” is not in the language.
The ref may have made the right call. The call being that simultaneous possession happened when the ball reached the players, and continued long enough to call it as such.
Anyone know how the post-game grading of replacement officials compares with that of prior seasons?
I’m sick of watching outcomes decided by the ineptitude and incompetence of the presiding officials.
That’s why I hold my nose and vote for Republicans.
>> That plus the Pack loss plus the Vikes win yesterday makes for a good weekend. <<
.
“To those that hate truth and reality, and love insanity.”
I have to add that the Bears win also makes the NFC north look good to me.
Per your point: The TRUTH is that today the Packers are 1 and 2. The reality is the Bears are 2 and 1.
The INSANITY is being a Packers fan.... :)
Bears = Obama. Packers = Ryan. Pack wins. Again.
Season?!?!! How bout worst call(s), ever.
*****************
Nope, not the worst call ever.
That would be the one in the Super Bowl, Cowboys vs. Steelers, where late in the game a Cowboy defensive back fell down on pass coverage during a long pass and Lynn Swann (I think) tripped over him and fell down. .....It was called pass interference, giving the Steelers a first down and permitted the Steelers to score to win the game. (another dumbass union referee who probably had a big bet on the game)
The NFL rules were then changed and that is clearly NOT to be considered pass interference.
Uh, not they didn't. LOL
I have no problem whatsoever hiring replacement refs to work for people who are demanding fulltime year-round pay for working 68 hours in that year.
BUT how did they ever find such completely incompetent jerks to referee the games?
“The INSANITY is being a Packers fan.... “
Is it insanity? I always thought it was just evil. :)
“The Cowboys had more than Mary on their side for that call.”
The pass interference on the final play last night was far more obvious, and the Drew Pearson no-call was in an era when they let a lot more go. (Not that I’ve forgiven yet.)
The new asterisk game *
After last night, we now know that a football player that catches a ball in the wrong end zone scores one for the other team.
Not a Packer fan, just have no patience with childish fans.
