I regret to say that Congressman Akin has been subjected to disgraceful treatment at the hands of the GOP political bosses, Dobson said. They have withheld funds for his campaign, even though he won the GOP primary for the Senate seat. Karl Rove and Haley Barbour have said things about his character that are untrue. Their vicious opposition could get his Democratic opponent elected in his stead. That is curious since an Akin win could give the Senate majority to the Republicans.

Dr. Dobson accusing Rove and Barbour of lying about Akins character. I am in a state of shock over the treatment Akin has received from the republican establishment.

Apparently the GOP wants McCaskill to win. After all their self righteous lip flapping about any opposition to Romney its the only logical explanation.

There’s no differeence between those damned two parties....both as corrupt as they can be! When Akin, as well as German Cain, are tarred and feathered by them for their own anti=American purp-oses, how can any God fearing American vote for the straw men those parties set up?

The GOP-E doesn’t want to win everything. Then they would be responsible for actually doing what they promised. They either want Romney to win but lose seats in the House and Lose the Senate or Romney to lose but keep the House and Gain the Senate. That way they won’t be responsible for repaling Obamacare or rolling back gov’t progams....

Like someone should take what a TV preacher says seriously.
I’ve seen Elmer Gantry. Dobson is just about as credible AFAIC.
Akin is going to lose, and the sooner you dwindling little band of socons understands that and gets that idiot out of the race so we can win the seat.
But these boneheaded fundies would rather back their holy martyr than win the Senate

First they remove Akin’s name from the republican senatorial map showing McCaskill running unopposed and next they sick Haley Barbour on him. Coulter calls him a swine while Rove makes a sick “joke” about murdering the man. I don't believe it was over his inane remark anymore than I believe the muslims attacked over a movie. There are missing links to this story...Akin is as conservative as they get. IF Claire wins MO..it is thanks to Rove and company.
We had to burn up the phone lines to get Akin back on their GOP map..maybe we should burn them up again over their slanderous remarks and lack of funds.

What do you know about Akin’s voting record or about the man? he is more conservative than Romney and far from being an idiot. Are you saying the MO voter's that elected him during the primary are fools? Akin is the type of man I have been fighting to win seats in congress and the senate NOT toss out.
What makes YOU think a replacement would beat Claire? you do know it won't be Steelman or Brunner..it will be someone the GOP selects NOT the voters.

Do you even know who Dobson is?
He has a radio show and founder of Focus on the Family, he is not a TV preacher.
I am intrigued by your support for the GOPe establishment, they must appreciate the loyalty.

And like the GOP-e, you’d rather lose the Senate than stand with a virtuous man...because like the GOP-e, you don’t like what virtue demands of you.

He's not getting out of the race. The party's structure played him wrong, and left themselves with no negotiating position.
Socons can't get him out of the race. Huckabee can't get him out of the race. Only Akin get get himself out oft he race. If you think he's not worth the energy to support (a la Sharon Angle, Christine O'Donnell), fine. But then don't waste the energy trying to get him to quit. It ain't happening.

No, winning is everything.
Akin didn’t get a decisive victory..he was in a 3 way race.
Now he’s going to lose because he’s stupid.

I agree. They will never get a dime from us again. I keep sending their requests to wonder where I stand back making them pay for the mailings!
Karl Rove is an embarrassment and needs to retire his mouth. I admired his wins for “W” but he needs a dose of reality now. He cannot accept fast change which was evident when he was with “W” and they did not make policy changes with a majority or changes that were difficult. He’s a wimp.

Too bad no one can slip him a mickey that knocks him out for a month.......

Dr. Robson has consistently stood on the right side of the issues. He is staunchly proliferate and profamily. He recently issued a public statement saying that he would not allow one dime of his organization ‘s money to implement Obamacare, and he actually said that Obama would have to come and get him. I wish the GOP had that same degree of resolve!
