In this video, Obama says he was born to a single mom.

However, Time magazine says:
"On Feb. 2, 1961, several months after they met, Obamas parents got married in Maui, according to divorce records. It was a Thursday. At that point, Ann was three months pregnant with Barack Obama II."
I would think that even a big supporter of Obama would have to admit that this contradiction is puzzling.
Obama Has No Grasp On Reality ,he just makes things up
Obama is all things to all people.
PING!
Yet, Congress trusts him with the “nuclear football”?
Actually, there is a page missing from the divorce records, and it does not contain a marriage certificate, the usual proof of marriage.
The divorce records prove nothing, except that Stanley Ann wanted to make sure that Obama Sr. had no claim on her or her money.
Would anyone get a divorce if they weren’t married? Sure, if they had been spreading lies around saying that they were married, in order to account for an illegitimate child. They would need a divorce to get them off the hook.
The tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.
Didn’t he say his parents met at a march in Birmingham, in 1963, when he was born in 1961?
Not just “single mother”, “virgin birth”, too.
Technically I was born to a single mother. Hard for two women to give birth to a single baby.
Maybe that is what Doh’bama meant.
I think they made a deal....She wouldn't squeal on daddy (if in fact he is the daddy) defrauding the govt for free schooling and she would get the baby hook, line and sinker. Actually, he wanted to get rid of mamma, hook, line and sinker sice he had another wife...over there someplace. It's really the only thing that makes sense.
I seriously doubt Obama knows who his real father is.
I doubt his mother knew, but she was smart enough to find someone to take the rap for it.
Te only thing we know for sure about Obama’s mother is that she never had sex with a white man.,
I have speculated for quite some time that the marriage, though bigamous in the U.S.A., was done for one reason only: so the baby would be legal when born in Kenya.
The British recognized multiple marriages for Muslim British subjects. In those areas of the British Empire where Islam was dominant, it had to be done.
(I have been challenged in the past on this issue, but have verified the existence of specific legal exceptions concerning British citizenship of children born to Muslim parents.)
I suspect baby Barry wasn’t wanted by his parents, or anyone else, for that matter. The Dunhams, after the wedding, shipped Stanley Ann off to Kenya where she worked to convince the Luo tribe into taking on responsibility for this baby after it’s birth. They said “NO!”.
Stanley Ann waited too long to leave Kenya. BOAC refused to allow her to fly to Vancouver, B.C., until after her baby was born. The British government has records for a baby Obama born during this time period in Kenya.
Maybe he meant his mother wasn’t married to his real father, Frank Marshall Davis, at the time of his birth. ;-)
. . . so he is a catcher and not a pitcher. . . .
Makes perfect sense to me. Parents were married, father deserted, mother effectively single.
Of all the things to take issue with Obama, this is merest nitpickery.
If he can ditch his story about being son of a Nigerian foreign student, he’ll have a better chance of proving his qualification for office...
This effort to forget about Daddy just a few months prior to Re-Election day is not accidental.
Well if, and everything with this POS has to be prefaced, the reports of his father being a bigamist and being married to some other piece of trash, the marriage to Obama’s tramp of a mother would be null and void so he could be the child of a single communist mother.
