There’s this liberal that works at our office that will always try to start his political arguments. I’ve learned to walk the long way around the building to avoid walking past his room.
I had to go past his room just now and he said “Did you hear the stupid thing Romney just said about Egypt and Lybia?
“Did he apologize to the Muslim mob?” I asked sarcastically.
Knowing what I was referring to he immediately got defensive and said “Obama apologized to try to cool down the situation. But people like Romney are going to get people killed. What else do you expect Obama to do???”
“Maybe he could try bowing down to them? Serious, it’s his mess. He’s the one that wanted Mubarak out of there.”
“Oh so you’d still want Mubarak in there? The people there totally didn’t want him in there. Is that right to support him?
“Well, now you see what happens when the people get what they want.”
“Oh.. so if Russia got big enough, you’d support them telling the USA what to do.”
“Of course not, although it would be in Russia’s self interest if that happened.”
