I feel like I ought to start out each of my articles anymore with a disclaimer, or caveat saying something along the lines of “WARNING: The contents of this article are to be considered null and void in the event of a “Reichstag Fire,” false flag event, and/or an invasion by Russian Spetsnaz in collusion with Northcom,“or words to that effect.
My intent is not to make light of such concerns, as God knows we have reason enough to be more than a bit edgy these days—what with the Patriot Act, NDAA, the torrent of Obama EOs (Executive Orders), various government agencies stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo, and other such things.
Personally, I am what you might call a cynical optimist—I hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I keep myself open to the idea that the US can peacefully pull itself out of the colossal mess that it is currently mired in—but I have enough guns, ammo, freeze dried food and whatnot to open a small survivalist store.
Be that as it may—the main topic that I wish to address in this article is my decision to back the Romney/Ryan ticket, and the fallout from that. Contrary to what some of you may think, I have not rushed off and enlisted in the “Dark Side.” I am as opposed to the Big Bank/ Big Corporation/Big Government/Big War cabal as ever...

Good luck with that! Or discerning the difference between someone who is a willardite because they’re sincere (albeit misguided), or are just on the payroll.
Only thing I can suggest is looking at how long they’ve been here and how often they post. Someone who has been here a decade and has posts numbering in the 5 or 6 digits is probably not an operative. Conversely a n00b or someone with 50 posts is more suspect.
I gave up on trying to discern underlying motivations and just respond to the post.
Bump. People who claim to be intelligent are fighting for Romney -- not just Mittbots, they're trans-Mittbottical in their transports of Mittbottism, like Romney's own zombie staff that other Republicans called "Children of the Corn" after they met them.
Romney's been sticking knives in conservatives and playing no-quarter decapitation of the conservative and Tea Party movements. And the Mitt-boosters, the self-appointed "America supporters" on this thread, are going to reward him by dying with him in the last ditch?
You'd have better luck persuading a stack of bricks to spontaneously spring to life and begin mentating like free men.
You guys beating up the unsurrendered conservatives, just sink in your misery by yourselves and quit bugging other people to lie down in Mittens's mire with you. You are covering yourselves with infamy; your words will impeach your judgment for years and years to come; they will always be "out there" in cyberspace, to come in and haunt you for the rest of your lives, whenever you are moved again to put your judgment on the line.
If you were what you say you are, you'd be trying to figure out a way to make sure Obama loses and Mittens gains no mandate, no perch from which to announce that spongy-soft, pro-gay and Open Borders "moderate" Republicanism is the only Republicanism, and that conservatives are outcast and unclean, racists and bigots and all the other things liberals want to hear about us from the mouth of a RiNO Judas.
Oh, and by "you're with America", you mean Mittens, right?

Standing on principle is one thing. But lacking the ability to know when “standing on principles” has become a suicide pact is another.
What I’ve been trying to point out is that sometimes we’re fooled by our own pride. The thought process goes like this: “Well I swore up and down I would never vote for Romney, so if I go against my word then I’ll look pretty bad.”
But trusting God means believing his Word that none of us is perfect.
As you have confirmed, there are wolves in sheep’s clothing on this site whose goal is to convince conservatives to stay home on election day.
I refuse to advance the agenda of Saul Alinsky, and I’ll never knowingly follow the path of the cowardly beasts.
May I disagree? I think the hand-lickers lick instinctually, as they did in Patrick Henry's day, and will follow our American Alcmaeonidae into exile, licking furiously "on principle" despite the reduced rewards, once the GOP-e no longer have a continent to loot.

WWII was a coalition event ~ neither Ike nor Zhukof spent very much time disposing of the other factions ~ seriously ~ not very much time at all. Their opponent, though, was all about eliminating all the factions on his side.
That's because the GOP-e business model is never to fight on principle, but only to argue for better seats in the boat on the way to the falls.
The GOP-e make their living by delivering increments of value. If taxes go up 80%, they deliver value by obtaining a 50% discount for this or that industry or family. Then they get their splurge of campaign funds and all is well.
They have no principles, they will wrangle and wrestle but never nail their colors to the mast, because they have no colors, only bank balances and Committees to Re-Elect.

The advantage God's people have over the acolytes and the demons is that neither of them can think very far ahead ~ which is why you had the Mittbots out there trying to crush Conservatives, particularly Socons, not just extol the virtues of their own candidate.

In point of historical minutiae I believe there is one direct ancestor who joined the Union army during the civil war, and more recent collaterals.
In the direct line though, there have been none since just before the Mexican Chicken Ranch refuge from US jurisdiction.
