In more general terms, this comment from the Democrats is a lie, and it's a stupid one to bring up given that it draws attention to the disgusting behavior of DNC delegates yesterday. The DNC is about 50% anti-Semitic bigots who booed the idea of having even one mention of God or of Israel in the Party Platform. I think this comment was intended to deflect attention from their open bigotry, but it will almost certainly fail. Conservatives, and especially Christian conservatives, are pro-Israel, pro-Jew, and pro- freedom. We are not the ones who trample the religious rights of our fellow Americans - that is Obama and his people.

This buffoon obviously does not understand the reason for a Christian’s love for the people of Israel. Although there are both “Evangelism” and “Eschatology”(End-Times prophecy) involved, the Primary reason the Christian Zionist believes that Israel belongs to the Jews is because G-d SAYS SO in His Holy Scripture. Even PM Netanyahu has expounded that “Jerusalem” is mentioned over 300 times in the New Testament Alone, and many more times in the Old Testament. Genesis 12 states that those who bless Israel will be blessed, and those who curse her shall be cursed. Psalm 122 Tells us to “Pray for The peace of Jerusalem”, and the Prophet Isaiah, especially from Chapter 40 to the end, insists that we reach out to “Comfort ye My people.” Any “Christian” who hates Jewish People or pretends to like them with alternative motives is acting in direct opposition to Scripture and is, IMHO, committing a sin against the Word of G-d.

As I said, Just my humble opinion, based upon 30 years of studying G-d’s Word. (I abbreviate the Name out of respect for my Jewish FRiends)

Oh, and By the way, “Jerusalem” is NEVER mentioned in the Koran. Not once. There is a brief mention in a hadith(commentary) about Mo riding a flying horse to paradise from Mt. Moriah, but that is IT.
