What do you mean, “Shame about the sons”? Prince William and Prince Harry are the grandsons. And Prince William is leading a pretty commendable life. He’s the one who, if God is merciful, will be king. He has married a girl everyone likes and admires, someone who will carry on his mother’s tradition nicely. He’s in military service and is out saving lives, and when he’s not on duty he does charity work. That’s not bad.
Harry is young, handsome, rich, famous, and a soldier who is well aware he could lose his life. He has always been the family clown and his silliness has shown up at serious events in the past, which is one reason he’s well-liked. Evidently he has engaged in the kind of silliness young soldiers often do (imagine! An unmarried young military man having SEX with women he doesn’t know very well! Now, that’s never happened before!)
It’s stupid, it’s not the crime of the century. Previous members of the royal family through the centuries have done far worse. Didn’t George IV have 10 illegitimate children with Mrs Fitzherbert?

I don’t think William should be lumped with his brother. He apparently has a good marriage and spends his time saving lives in his military role.
