Neil Young – singer, songwriter, and guitarist – solo artist – member of Buffalo Springfield – member of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young – is very much alive.
However, NBC news has reported that he has died!
Not only that, but they also reported that he was the first astronaut to walk on the moon!

I wrote to NBC several times to inform them the first man on the moon wasn’t named Neil Young but Louis Armstrong.

Actually, it was discovered that Neil Armstrong was using performance-enhancing drugs during the Apollo mission, so the title of "First Man on the Moon" has been stripped from him.
