And yet..ol Joe B just keeps on keepin on.
He’ll cost the right the Senate. There is no way he will win the race if he stays in. No way at all. He’ll have no funding, and there will absolutely be middle of the roaders who were set to vote for him who know will not.
He must get out or it won’t really matter if Romney wins because Harry Reid will still be in charge of the Senate and just block everything.
What kind of jerk uses a phrase like “goalie in their vajay-jay”?
This author is bottom-sucking scum.
He needs to go NOW. look how much damage this guy did in 10 seconds. Imagine what he could do with 2 1/2 months. He is a plague infected blanket gifted to us by the Democrats. They’re sending this guy money they want him so bad and they’re certainly answering yes in polls asking whether he should stay in or not. Get him out of there.
There is no explanation for ignorance.
What did Ted Kennedy, do after Chappaquiddick, What did Bill Clinton do after Monica Lewinsky, What did John Edwards do after being caught having an affair while running for President, What did Barney Frank do after being caught having an affair with a male prostitute, who also conducted his business in Franks home? You know what they did? They just kept on running for office, like the good scum that they are. They didnt say something, they actually did something. So if they’re smart enough and can figure out the hypocrisy then they should know that people who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones! Having actually did something horrible and saying something horrible are not the same.
Yep. It comes down to this: If Akin doesn't love this country enough to put his ego aside, take one for the team and give the GOP the chance to win that election, there is virtually NO CHANCE the GOP will take the Senate, and as such NO CHANCE Obamacare will ever be repealed.
Akin may be sorry he’s an idiot, but . . . Democrats aren’t.
I expect more from our candidates than the scumbag Democrats.
Not saying I agree with the GOP practice of political cannibalism, but if ever there was vacuous utterance from a politician, Akin’s flub was it. Biden is green with envy.
You need to brush up on how politics works. Dems have a much lower bar to hurdle. It’s not fair. But it’s the way it works.
If you want to go down with the ship defending this idiot, be my guest. Not me. I have no affection for any politician. They are nothing but numbers to me. And we need 51 of them to to repeal Obamacare. Akin’s number is no good.
—There is no explanation for ignorance.—
Actually, we are all ignorant on a lot of subjects. He’s not a doctor. I can imagine he is ignorant on this subject. That’s why what he said was a “misspeak”. What he touched on was very “nuanced and controversial” science and, therefore, he was crazy to even bring it up.
Unfortunately, politicians are not protected by affirmative action.
They don’t call us “The Stupid Party” for nuthin’...
Akin was terminally stupid politically. It does not make a bit of difference if there could have been different words used to convey some sort of understanding about the chances of pregnancy occurring during a violent rape, what he did say was terminally asinine.
The most important thing is that he clearly has demonstrated that he does not have the judgment to hold office. That is the reason he should remove himself.
That is quite a colorful term of art. LOL!
I do to, but the perception is that the Dem’s are lilly white, without fault, and that has to be shown for the lie that it is.
And that's going to keep happening. The sooner we recognize that and stop whining about it, the better we'll be.
Henry V didn't snivel at Agincourt about how outnumbered and out armored he was. He didn't cry about it being unfair. He used his strengths (longbow) and the terrain to multiply the effectiveness of his own forces and limit the decided advantages of the French.
Santorum did exceptionally well in Missouri (twice) during the primary season, and all Akin needed to do was parrot Santorum's response. All Akin would have had to say is, "I think Rick Santorum gave a very persuasive response to this very same question in the primaries. It was thoughtful, compassionate and I agree with him." Now you may argue that would have been "punting," but that is certainly preferrable to being sacked in your own end zone.
Here's a heads up to any pro-life Politician.
