Obamas and Bidens campaign events have been marked recently by less than impressive attendance. Meanwhile, attendance at Mitts events have been overwhelming. Here is a couple of pictures of his recent visit to Chillicothe, Ohio.
Well, it turns out there is a reason for Obamas less than overwhelming attendance. It seems that his campaign is purposely limiting tickets:
We have plenty of time for big rallies, a campaign spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, said between the rallies on Thursday. Our focus right now is on exciting our supporters and winning over undecided voters and the smaller and medium-size events are the best venue to accomplish that because the president can closely engage with the crowd.Big rallies are expensive, especially given the logistical and security challenges for a president as opposed to a mere United States senator. And Obama campaign operatives, both at the Chicago headquarters and in swing states where Mr. Obama recently has stumped, say the campaign intentionally limits crowds by restricting tickets. The reason is to allow the president to better connect with supporters, aides say.
So when reporters report half-empty Obama fundraisers, his Campaign responds, Hey, we sold out!.
If they are being on the level, Im not sure that is wise. But then, theyre the experts, not me.
R&R have to win by a big margin to keep the stinking dims out of the cheating courts.
The Ryan/Romney ticket needs to keep on with the positive message. RSVP in kind mud at the Odummmer bunch, but, at the rallies, keep up with the positive.
lol!
geeez-he looks arabic.
“thee campaign intentionally limits crowds by restricting tickets... to allow the president to better connect with supporters, aides say.”
Horse feathers! NO ONE but NO ONE gets into any of these events without already being on the campaign’s or local party’s list of supporters. There is no connecting with minds to be changed. How pathetic.
Seriously this "selective audience" is a line from the Spinal Tap movie.
"We meant to do that."
I want them to keep peddling bilge like this. Every time they come out with one of their thoroughly non-credible rationalizations, another group of undecided Americans says, “Jeeze, they really do think we’re stupid enough to buy that”, and makes a decision not to vote for people who insult their intelligence.
Keep it up spin artists, we’re counting on you.
Electioneering for Complete Morons:
Large crowds all chanting the same slogans, waving the same signs and wearing the same buttons energizes supporters. Small crowds listening to candidate lectures and “engaging” with supporters do not. This is not an attractive side of human nature, but it is a fact, fully elaborated on by Eric Hoffer in True Believer, and unfortunately excessively exploited in the past by demagogues and tyrants. Anyone who claims otherwise when they have small turnout is either a fool or about to lose, or both.
If they do that, I’d suggest that tens of thousands of Republicans take them up on the offer . . .
and then not show up.
Bwahahahaha!
>> It seems that his campaign is purposely limiting tickets:
They only allow those who are Kool-Aid drinking worshippers of The Won.
Its getting harder and harder to fill a venue with those people since most are in jail, hiding from ICE, or have been dead for a decade.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
From THIS IS SPINAL TAP:
Ian’s office
Marty: The last time Tap toured America, they where, uh, booked into 10,000 seat arenas, and 15,000 seat venues, and it seems that now, on the current tour they’re being booked into 1,200 seat arenas, 1,500 seat arenas, and uh I was just wondering, does this mean uh...the popularity of the group is waning?
Ian: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no...no, no, not at all. I, I, I just think that the.. uh.. their appeal is becoming more selective.
This just in.....
Obama Campaign: Were Purposely Limiting Campaign Donations
We have plenty of time for big donors, a Obama campaign spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, said between fundraisers on Thursday. Our focus right now is on begging our Obot supporters for $3 and scaring undecided voters into donating $5 and a chance to dine with Barry...er.. Barack. Tese small donations allows us to expand our donor database so that come October we can allow those same donors to choose between a larger cash donation to the campaign or face a federal tax audit.”

Thank you for your support!
Personally, *I* dressed as an empty chair when Obama came to Scranton some months ago. No one recognized me.
On election night, I want to lay out a table of delicious goodies for my favorite peeps, Joe and Ranger; inflate balloons, hang streamers and celebrate Obama and the Dem’s complete and utter defeat. Hopefully, Obama’s end will showcase the biggest, most humiliating pratfall in presidential history.
ONE and DONE.
