The video best tells the story of this effort in Onslow Country, South Carolina. Can we move this across the U.S.? Can 'We The People' donate a sign?
Were proud of our military service members, and we support the members who have given so much in defense of our freedoms, Onslow County Manager Jeff Hudson told the Daily News of Jacksonville.
Onslow County Manager Jeff Hudson told the newspaper that county officials will install two wounded warrior parking spaces each at the tax office, the health department and the county's multipurpose complex.
Its a new program for us, but certainly were proud of our service members, Hudson said. We want to make sure that when they utilize county services, that its as easy as possible for them.
The county also will get new parking spaces marked specifically for new and expectant mothers. Source: Fox Nation
Notice in the video Jeff Hudson says: ...those persons who have given so much in terms of their lives and services and have been wounded in combat for us, deserve recognition and assistance from the rest of our country. View the video here.

GODLUVYA for this post!
Our military deserves the best of everything.
But, we STILL haven’t told those that park their new EXcalades with the “handicapped” placards that the signs that say “Handicapped Parking” refer to physically handicapped-—NOT mentally handicapped.
I have a feeling the “entitled Holder-people” won’t give. They’ll just buy fake medals or something.

No.
We don’t need to continue to create special classes of people. This will come back to haunt conservatives. Are we going to cry about electric vehicle parking? What about parking for transexuals only?

When I was stationed at Camp Lejeune in the 60s, Onslow County was in North Carolina.
Did they move it?

The MSM puts Charlotte in SC half the time, they don't know the difference and likely don't care. It's more amusing than annoying to natives, like the time they sent a reporter to Greenville South Carolina to do a big writeup on NC barbecue. They have no idea how idiotic they come across. The Dem convention will be a motherlode of hilarity as petty provincials purport to report, breathlessly, on the exotic local yokels. Count on it, it's been going on as long as I can recall.

Not that I would ever defend the MSM, but I think in this case it was the poster's comment, rather than the MSM who "made the move."
Nevertheless, your comment is a reflection of what reporting, i.e. journalism, has become today ... biased, imprecise and sometimes, downright idiotic.
Just this morning I read an AP sports brief that explained, "Down 3-0, the Red Sox went ahead on Dustin Pedroia's three-run homer."
Unless MLB is adding on style points for homers (this being an Olympic year), I don't think that's possible.

I like the spaces for mothers with several young children, or the late pregnancy mothers to be....I'd tolerate senior citizen parking....I'm all for those with walkers, or in wheelchairs, or with neurological diseases such as parkinsons or ALS etc getting closer parking spaces...
the reality is that the "handicapped" parking spaces are being used by every tom, dick, and harry with bad knees...or a sore back...or achy feet....
just visit your local casino and see the handicapped going into the casino with gusto....
I've been told by youngish people that they are on disability because of "degenerative disc disease"....well, I guess if I can still work and work hard as a hospital nurse and have DDD then so can some 30 yro...
