I have enjoyed Chick-fil-A's products for almost 30 years now. The first Chick-fil-A I ever saw was located in the Regency Mall (now closed) in Augusta, GA. Ever since I have always considered them to have the best fast food available anywhere. I found it odd at first that they weren't open on Sundays. Even back then I thought 'Well, that won't last. As they get bigger and more successful someone will probably put a stop to that.' Now, here it is decades later and they still don't do business on Sundays. As to why, here it is from their own FAQ at their website:

Q: Why is Chick-fil-A closed on Sunday?
A: Our founder, Truett Cathy, made the decision to close on Sundays in 1946 when he opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. He has often shared that his decision was as much practical as spiritual. He believes that all franchised Chick-fil-A® Operators and Restaurant employees should have an opportunity to rest, spend time with family and friends, and worship if they choose to do so. That's why all Chick-fil-A Restaurants are closed on Sundays. It's part of our recipe for success.

-------------------------

Amazing, really.

And to top it all off now the Giblets (GBLT) want to drive them out of business! Chick-fil-A has never hurt anyone but, you see, minding one's own business is no longer good enough! No, one must kowtow to the gods of gayness or be persecuted for one's 'wrong' thinking! Make no mistake - To the Giblets the very act of not praising homosexuality is, in and of itself, hate speech! All wrong thinkers must be punished as an example to others who might get the idea that it is acceptable to publically disagree with the homosexual lobby.

But this time I think things will be different. The mask has slipped a little. People all over the US have seen the way Chick-fil-A has been treated by mayors of various towns and they don't like it. The word has gotten around. People are talking in their churches and businesses.

So tomorrow, Aug. 1, has been designated "Chick-fil-A Day!"

I hope Chick-fil-As all over the US actually run out of product tomorrow. I predict lines of cars filled with people trying to give Chick-fil-A their custom will stretch around the stores and the parking lots will overflow. Chick-fil-A is going to have the largest single day's receipts in the chains history and good for them! I'm proud to say a tiny bit of that money will come from me.

Do everything you can to make it to a Chick-fil-A near you and buy some of their wonderful food! Even if you're not that crazy about chicken sandwiches, stop in and buy an ice-cream cone, milkshake or sundae. Just do it to let people know they can't tell you what to think and what not to think!
