Last week the Middle East continued an inexorable march toward a holocaust involving nuclear weapons (that Iran doesn’t have) and weapons of mass destruction (that Saddam Husain didn’t have and didn’t move to Syria).
Also last week, the US economy continued to grind to a slow halt as we continued to double down on our Faustian bargain with European socialism (with money that we don’t have). Businesses continued to shutter their doors at “unprecedented” rates, unemployment continued unabated, already anemic GDP “growth” slowed to a near halt, and the forecast for the annual budget deficit hit $1.2 trillion – which means we will bump up against the incomprehensible $16.3 trillion debt ceiling by the end of December.
You’re probably wondering what, in the midst of all this turmoil, are our elected leaders doing to address these grave issues?

AFAIK, Nero didn’t fiddle while Rome burned.
He didn’t own a fiddle (violin). It would have been a lyre, as violins were not even invented until the 1500’s.
The ‘other’ rumor was that Nero put on a costume and sang on stage while Rome burned. He didn’t sing, he didn’t play a fiddle, and he didn’t play a lyre.

“According to Tacitus, upon hearing news of the fire, Nero rushed back to Rome to organize a relief effort, which he paid for from his own funds. After the fire, Nero opened his palaces to provide shelter for the homeless, and arranged for food supplies to be delivered in order to prevent starvation among the survivors. In the wake of the fire, he made a new urban development plan. Houses after the fire were spaced out, built in brick, and faced by porticos on wide roads.
Nero also built a new palace complex known as the Domus Aurea in an area cleared by the fire.”

The last line explains WHY the fire was ‘allegedly’ started. Nero wanted to clear an area so he could build this new castle, and it got out of control.
It was only about 10% of ‘Rome’ that actually got damaged in the fire.
it is also not an accident that in this day of a US economic collapse that the US has a black president, one who does not meet the constitutional criteria to hold the office. I hardly think the rich white banking cartel would put one of their own in the WH to oversee the ending days of freedom in the US. Suggested reading: The Bloodlines of the Illuminati. Socialist Autocrat Obama’s seeming “fiddling” is cleverly orchestrated at many interlocking levels in pursuit of a multi-faceted worldwide agenda.
Financially bankrupting the U.S.A. is one of the most important elements. Fostering the political goals of the Muslim Brotherhood and like has been clearly revealed as a key element of his foreign policy, one of the related intended outcomes being the isolation and demise of Israel.
All the while we hear accusations of Obama’s inability, his failures, his lack of understanding how to improve the performance of a capitalistic economy. Is it fair to expect a socialist to even desire a strong, vital capitalistic economy?
