His plan was to make more people dependant on government, make energy scarce and expensive, strangle the free market through over regulation and taxation, diminish our nation around the world, and oh so much more.

From his perspective, his plan has worked, just not fast enough. That's why he wants a second term, to put the final nails in America's coffin.
