Because that was his plan...silly.
In prolonged downturns, families pull in their horns and many “unemployed” vanish, becoming dependents again. This is, at BEST, another classic illustration of how to lie with statistics.
Hussein’s plan, apparently, was to double the national debt, destroy the housing market, put tens of millions of people out of work, stagnate the stock market, disrupt the energy market, destroy the medical care market, and bankrupt as many corporations and people as possible.
His plan was to put people out of work.
Putting people back to work is the antithesis of what 0bama wants; if people are working they are free and independent. If, on the other hand, they are out of work and desperate, they are at the mercy of the dictator.

But the foreigner, Hussein 0bama, neither knows or understands Americans. He is in for a rude awakening.
