So the drive by media are covering for Romney? Oh yea, I believe that story......What's hard to believe is that here in FR there are so many people who are willing to accept another 4 years of Obama. That really blows my mind. I know that a few of them (very few) are DNC plants, maybe years in development. But that's very few. Most of them are good conservatives who just really have no idea of what is at stake here.
How can you be a conservative, and a good conservative, and lack all understanding of the battlefield situation? It just really blows my mind.
Ego, inability to see their own failure so keep blame the situation on others (Mitt, GOP, RINO, etc., but never themselves), and most importantly, thriving for the right to boast "I told you, so!" come to my mind. Pick your reason.
The “conservative” media has went out of their way knocking Romney for being a flip flopper. He has quite the record for that. Just look at the posters here on FR. They would rather be ideologically pure than get Romney elected. With FR’s help, Obama will serve another 4 years and secure the destruction of the USA. There are plenty here that say there is no difference between Obama and Romney. Do you believe that too?
The Free Republic of today is nothing like it used to be. It’s sad to see everything in this country swirling around in the toilet. We are a first hand witness to a memorable moment in history.
If we elect enough real Conservative Senators, Representatives and Governors even a Moderate President can be forced to go along with the right agenda. The idea that the Marxist-Leninist halfwit we have now would be better than the alternative is nonsense.

TARP, SHaria, 911 victory mosque, Death Panels,
gay marriage by his signature, flipfloppery,

I'm convinced the number of “sleeper” left-wing plants on FR are larger than just a “very few.”There is certainly a lot of nonsense on FR these days. Whether the number of sleepers involved is very few or more than a very few is anybody's guess. Ultimately it's not that important. Personally, I try to stay away from defending Romney (even as an ABO, which is the only grounds I've ever defended him on) because the level of vitriol is so high on this subject here in FR.
For example, there is a post on this thread, directed at me, that I'm not going to respond to. There's just no point to it.
