If a college professor has a sexual relationship with her or her student, many would think it unethical (and immoral in the case of those committing adultery), but not unlawful. But, when a teacher has sex with an under-aged student, then she or he is a criminal deserving of punishment.

Well, yes, it is illegal to have a sexual relationship with an underage person, and it is immoral and unprofessional to have a sexual relationship with a person under your care (a professor getting a student, even of legal age, into a sexual relationship). So what is your point?

Also, what were these women thinking? What adult woman in her right mind would want to carry on with a teenager?

Having teachers - of either sex - soliciting or consenting to sex with their students - of either sex - is completely wrong, and they need to have the book thrown at them. There has got to be some place that is safe for kids.

She was 39 and he was 16? I’m afraid that’s “guilty” with or without pictures. When you can double the age of the younger partner and still not reach the age of the older partner, that’s creepy if nothing else.
