One of the biggest pet peeves of your humble correspondent is so-called journalists who continue to absurdly claim that there is no evidence that one of the purposes for gunwalking in Operation Fast and Furious was to advance a gun control agenda. Last week the culprit was Jillian Rayfield of Rolling Stone and now Steve Kornacki of Salon and MSNBC is the latest liberal to display his reality challenged assertion on this subject:
The question is why the NRA has decided to emphasize the Holder vote. The group’s official explanation, believe it or not, involves conspiracy theory – the idea that the Fast and Furious gun-walking program that led to the death of a border patrol agent in 2010 was actually “a political attack on the 2nd Amendment and that the Justice Department facilitated a crime to further their gun control political agenda.”

Two obvious points: (1) the article shows that there is evidence of a political agenda behind the Fast and Furious decisions, and (2) the purpose of the subpoena for documents is to obtain addition evidence. I’m not amused at the objection to collecting evidence based on the limited amount of evidence currently in hand.
FYI
I didn’t used to believe in zombies. Now, I ain’t so sure.
If true, then why did the ATF order that multiple sales had to be reported from those select states? Since each illegal straw sale WAS AUTHORIZED by the ATF to be “walked” across the border, was the multiple sale reporting requirements in response to ..... themselves?
No, the multiple gun sales reporting requirement was but one item that was to be implemented to further their cause of gun control.
Once liberated from the truth lying & deceiving becomes a piece of cake.
ping!
Just watched Solodad on CNN make a mockery of journalism and the truth. This bi*ch is an anchor for CNN . They spent 15 minutes make the most inane assertions with nothing but obama juju as evidence. This is journalism? It was a cluster____/. You could not follow the discussion with the crap that was being hurled.
We can’t see the relevant documents, and I am sure all that stuff has been deleted and burned by now. Not hard to prove circumstantially, beyond reasonable doubt. Not given pbamster’s’commemts and how this operation was run. Plus all the lies holder’s been caught in testimony and had to recant, plus the whole no we won’t use EP to hide anything/oh we’re using EP to hide these docs from you. Even though the WH didn’t write them.
At best this was an attempt to put guns in play and try to detect any patterns after a bunch of people got killed. (Really, that is as good as it can possibly get)
No matter which is true, U.S. and Mexican laws associated with the export/import of weapons were intentionally violated. A federal agency broke numerous laws and violated the functional areas that are the responsibility of the U.S. Dept of State. They violated the sovereignty of a neighboring country we are supposed to be friends with. People on both sides of the border were killed.
All this and the Administration wants us to believe this was orchestrated independently by an AUSA and a GS-14 ATF supervisor. Americans aren't that stupid.
There is a lot of evidence, and Holder is sitting on it!
Maybe Steve would be kind enough to explain what it was all about. I’m sure the Terry family would like to know. Steve is full of it and he knows it.
I happened to see Chris Matthews tonight for a few minutes and the two clowns he had on where spinning the same talking points ...
It’s really to understand how badly these guys has Cognitive dissonance....
They were claiming that we really don’t know if the ATF walked guns into Mexico ....
“”MSNBC is the latest liberal to display his reality challenged assertion on this subject: “”
Wouldn’t it be kind of difficult to start explaining what DIDN’T happen when they never told their viewers what had been happening for the past 1 1/2 years?
When was the law passed against logic and common sense?
I can’t post what I want to about these slimy reporters or JimRob will ban me forever!
[Or words to that effect, seen on another site]
Dont ask me to directly figure out what the lefttwit meant by that interpreting mindless illogic was never my strong suit..
