Yesterday on a thread FReeper marron was very good to discribe her very own Financial SHTF experience. Seeing what is more than likely coming our way I believe her post to be extremely valuable information and I am posting it here again to make sure that as many FReepers read it.

Thank you marron the firsthand expereince and the information you shared is priceless to those currently prepping and should be eye opening to those that aren't.

Reginald Denny might disagree with you.

I say the potential is there, scripture is clear, and I will prepare for my family.

LA was peaceful one day and had 3,600 arsons, 53 murders and over 2,000 wounded only 48 hours later.

I saw it first hand gurding my girlfriend's apartment complex in Bellflower.

Stuff like this can happen fast.

Let me clarify that last post:
Let me tell you something about Americans, Ansel12.

They’re a wonderful, friendly people as long as their bellies are full and their home theaters are working... but take away their creature comforts, deprive them of food, sleep, hot showers... put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time and those same, friendly, intelligent, wonderful people will become as nasty and as violent as the most bloodthirsty Hun.

You don’t believe me?

Look at those faces.

Look in their eyes.

Maybe the editing will allow you to glean some relevance, maybe not...

“The most critical thing to always keep in mind is that the political class will do whatever is necessary to protect itself,”

And there will come a time after the SHTF, likely a whole lot sooner than ‘they’ might expect it, when ‘We the People’ will take them out. Our Founding Fathers did it in 1776, and there are enough of ‘We the People’ to do it again.

There will be some, like Clarence Thomas, who will be with ‘We the People’. There will be others, the ‘Chameleon’s’ who will see the handwriting on the wall and seek to become one of ‘We the People’. And then there are those who will try to use their power to keep their positions. They will not win!

And the ‘Chameleon’s’ must be prevented from ever again having any political clout...via such things as the original 13th Amendment.

Then explain Waco. Nothing happened from that.

Of note, and underappreciated, is nothing happened after that.

Reginald Denny, riots? Do you think riots are new, they aren’t, the worst ones in American history go back much, much farther than 20 years ago.

What in the world does that have to do with there being death camps for Christians soon?

Nothing to that level but there are still innocent people dying at the hands of armed police.

P.S. And now we have the distinct possibility of armed flying drones overhead.

I knew the silly point you were trying to make, and it was irrelevant, no one is starving, there is no reason to think anyone will be starving, and we already have many centuries of Americans handling emergencies, including periods of hunger and deprivation, war and social upheaval.

What we don’t have a history of is your Nazi death camps and Chinese mass murder, or any other weird Road Warrior insanity of mass violence of the “most bloodthirsty Hun”.

I sure hope the EBT system never goes bankrupt.

1930s Germany had no history of death camps, either.

Granted they has a history of persecuting Jews, but the death camps were also full of gays, Gypsies, mental defectives, handicapped, communists and devout Catholics.

I’m sure in 1932 they all felt perfectly safe living in Europe’s most civilized country.

Just like you do here and now.

Bu 1930 Germany had a long and even recent history of horrors and mass violence. Germany has a brutal history.

EBT is a recent creation in America, it wasn’t there for centuries.

I don’t anticipate the death camps against the vast majority of Americans run by a tiny group of city living, non-enlisting, Christian haters from NYC, anytime soon.

Are you sure that you are not some college kid? All of your history seems to come straight from the left with every cliche known, including your dark false view of American history.

I’m not sure what happened on your last post.

You quote yourself from post #61, 74, 75, 81, 82, 98 and 99 as if it was something I said on post #112, then refute it?

Occasionally my computer will retain the last cut and paste instead of the new one, and I missed it this time, I was meaning your description of the death camp victims.

You seem to get your history from liberal sources and your American history from anti-American sources.

Accept for the devout Catholics you pretty much covered the Democrat Party.

Ah. Okay. Thanks.

My point is that the Hitler government didn't round up everyone they wanted to eliminate in one felled swoop.

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Each step was a small demonized group, each step most decent law-abiding Germans thought they'd be better off without.

Next thing you know, you're the one being blamed for everything!

In a would-be dictator's eyes there aren't all that many steps between child molesters and anyone who disciplines their children.

And on the off chance you aren't paying attention we have a dicktaster, uh, would-be dictator in the White House.

America is unique, and judging by all the tea party success of the last 4 years, coming off our 2 term republican president, I don't think the political system is totally broke yet.

One reason that I am not as worked up as some get about the American holocaust being just around the corner, is that I was very much involved in the 1960s, and learned that no matter how intense and violent, and explosive it all seemed, America absorbs it all.

The 1960s were wild beyond imagining, yet hardly anyone remembers how apocalyptic they appeared to be, even the people who were there don't remember.

Troops massing, days in internment camps, mass arrests, I was one of 13,000 arrested and held in a camp and poorly fed (food shortages).

Imagine if this started happening again.

"At one point, so many soldiers and marines were being moved into the area from bases along the East Coast that troop transports were landing at the rate of one every three minutes at Andrews Air Force Base in suburban Maryland, about 15 miles from the White House. Among these troops were 4,000 paratroopers from the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division. These troops were to back up the 5,100 D.C. Metropolitan Police, 2,000 D.C. National Guard and Nixon’s internal security forces[who?]that were already in place. Every monument, park and traffic circle in the nation's capital had troops protecting its perimeters. Paratroopers and marines deployed via helicopter to the grounds of the Washington Monument."

Even Mitt's father was having his own problems in Michigan.

"As the day wore on and looting and fires got worse, Romney called in the Michigan State Police and the Michigan National Guard.[141] At 3 a.m. on July 24, Romney and Detroit Mayor Jerome Cavanagh called U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark and requested that federal troops be sent.[141][142] Clark indicated that to do so, Romney would have to declare a state of civil insurrection, which the governor was loath to do from fear that insurance companies would seize upon it as a reason to not cover losses owing to the riot.[142] Elements of the 82nd and 101st U.S. Army Airborne Divisions were mobilized outside of the city.[143] As the situation in Detroit worsened, Romney told Deputy Secretary of Defense Cyrus Vance, "We gotta move, man, we gotta move."[144] Near midnight on July 24, President Lyndon B. Johnson authorized thousands of paratroopers to enter Detroit."

And here is a photo of America from the calm and placid 1950s with the 101st Airborne helping herd Southerners with fixed bayonets

OK, now I’m confused.

You post examples of “it” happening to show that “it” can’t happen?
