Schultz On Walker Win: He Could "Be Indicted In The Next Few Days" (VIDEO)
PMSNBC ^ | 6-5-12 | Ed Schultz

Posted on 06/05/2012 9:23:11 PM PDT by GR_Jr.

Ed Schultz, an ardent supporter of unions and the recall of Gov. Scott Walker, reacts to the Wisconsin electorate voting to keep Walker as governor.

"In many respects it's to be expected, considering how much money was thrown at this race. You know, NBC is calling it for Walker. Okay, I think it's awful close and there's a lot of absentee ballots yet that are still out and it's going to be very, very close down to the wire" MSNBC's Schultz said.

"Certainly it is not the end and it's going to be an opportunity for the progressive movement to regroup nationally and understand exactly what they are up against," a teary-eyed Schultz lamented.

"And this sets the template for the Republicans and tells the right-wing in this country that if they can outfund their opponent they have a real good shot as winning," Schultz, an enthurasatic supporter of President Barack Obama in 2008 said toward the end of the segment.

Ed Schultz concluded the segment by making a wild assertion. "Scott Walker could very well be indicted in the coming days," the MSNBC host said.

"So it's going to be really a fight for the Democrats here in November, no question about it," Schultz said.

The Gov of Maryland also said on FOX tonitr that Walker was days away from an indictment....the man was not capable of saying for what.

I wonder what could be *so* serious to warrant an indictment within the next few days, but not serious enough to divulge anytime during the last few months of the recall process? Recall Summer II, coming up!!!

Heard that Barret conceded already. The DNC is filing a lawsuit against Greyhound for overall poor service and lack of adequate service Wisconsin.

There's another lawsuit against the ferry from Michigan to Manitowoc for poor service and serving alcoholic beverages and encouraging partying hard.

This is what is being said in the liberal blogosphere. Anyone from Wisconsin here that can comment?

According to lawyers familiar with a Milwaukee criminal corruption probe, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is now a "target" for prosecution.

The legal sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Walker faces "serious legal challenges," including a "possible indictment" regardless of the gubernatorial recall election results on Tuesday.

The investigation began in 2010 when Walker served as Milwaukee County executive.

Six people have been charged, with accusations ranging from campaigning for Walker on government time to embezzlement. 13 other Walker associates have been given immunity from prosecution in exchange for their testimony in the case.

This week, Governor Walker acknolwedged he has now transferred $160,000 from his campaign accounts to a legal defense fund. Mr. Walker confirmed the money is strictly for his own defense and not for any current or former staff.

Lawyers for Governor Walker recently appeared at the Milwaukee courthouse but refused to say why they were there. The lawyers have also refused to comment on the Governor's status in the investigation.

Walker has to be the most “vetted” Republican pol in history at this point. If they (the Dems, the MSM and the unions) had *anything* at all on this guy, they would have found it in the last 14 months. The guy is squeeky clean at this point. Rest easy.

Ed Schultz concluded the segment by making a wild assertion. "Scott Walker could very well be indicted in the coming days," the MSNBC host said.

He tried that carp a couple of days before the recall election, even though there is absolutely No evidence of anything of the sort.

What a fun game! (NOT!)

"...Any day now, authorities could very well discover violent, gay-porn, involving Canadian minors, on MSNBC host Ed Schultz's personal computer..."

Is there no responsible limit to the wild, unfounded "what-if's" a (supposed) "journalist" can come up with?

Sounds like a Dem prosecutor looking for payback by intimidating/threatening/bribing his former employees to come up with any possible violation of county or campaign rules - like answering a phone during business hours, use of a copy/fax machine or government computer to send an email (embezzlement), etc. Shades of Rat tactics against Sarah. Of course, using government funds/resources/personnel is standard practice for Dems, especially public union employees.
