Now the Chicago police department is following Obamas example and telling people that their First Amendment rights can be terminated anytime. Check out the incident caught on camera when a couple of news reporters were trying to cover a story outside a Chicago hospital.
Following the threat, the officer arrested the two journalists. Even though they were released a short time later, the incident has not gone unnoticed. According to the National Press Photographers Association, there have been 70 such arrests that they have documented since last September. Many of the arrests have involved the filming of news stories when the police decide they dont want to allow it to be filmed. They seem to just arbitrarily decide on their own when it is legal and when it isnt.
One of the most Corrupt Districts in the CPD
(per all the recent arrests of 'officers' in the 10th caught in stings).
And FWIW, 'Officer' Ward looks to be a tad old to still be an 'Officer' and not a Sergeant. So he must have been .. 'reprimanded' ... a few times on the job. Or... is dumber than DIRT and failed every Sergeant Exam he's taken.
Would any of those fat slobs pass a physical?
Ever see a union thug that could pass a physical. They all look like poster boys for obesity.
I know. You big silly!
If we can’t stand in the street, the Constitution is dead. /clown
Ooopsy.

Journalists have been selling this country down the river for decades and as we can no longer depend upon them to expose the excesses of government at all levels it is poetic justice to see them harassed by the very same gestapo they support
We know the vast majority of Journalists would love to see us lose our 2nd Amendment rights. Commie loving pukes deserve no better.
My question is, precisely what the journalists did to arouse the ire of the cop? Because journalists constantly promote the conceit that they have rights apart from, and over and above, the people. But the First Amendment declaration that Congress shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of . . . the press establishes neither a title of nobility nor a priesthood of members of the Associated Press.Freedom of the press is a right of the people whether or not any given person has bought a printing press yet. You and I have freedom of the press even if we dont buy a printing press; indeed, we are communicating via a worldwide web which is accessible to far more people than any newspaper reached in the founding era. And I would argue that the fact that the Constitution promotes the progress of science and the useful arts means that an internet web site is really just a printing press grown up.
They are just repeating a lie long enough to be believed by the weak mind.
Did you notice that the first part of the video is missing? Like where the cop probably (and politely) asked those dudes to move to the sidewalk?
They shouldn't expect a Constitutional lesson from a Chicago cop, they should expect a I'm gonna beat your ass lesson.
I’ve seen my share of pissed-off Chicago cops. This one? His behavior screams, “stop giving me your crap and move your ass to the sidewalk like I told you to.”
