Now the Chicago police department is following Obama’s example and telling people that their First Amendment rights can be terminated anytime. Check out the incident caught on camera when a couple of news reporters were trying to cover a story outside a Chicago hospital.
Following the threat, the officer arrested the two journalists. Even though they were released a short time later, the incident has not gone unnoticed. According to the National Press Photographers Association, there have been 70 such arrests that they have documented since last September. Many of the arrests have involved the filming of news stories when the police decide they don’t want to allow it to be filmed. They seem to just arbitrarily decide on their own when it is legal and when it isn’t.
Some people are even too stupid to be cops—even in Chicago.

Would any of those fat slobs pass a physical? Are these the meter-maid type cops wearing bullet-proof vests? The main Constitution-shredder is huffing even just crossing the street.
We ALL need to write the Chicago Police department. A cop that thinks he can use the “F” word in talking to someone is wrong, let alone he has no understanding of what his job is or what first amendments rights are.
Something needs to be done about the police state we have become. Too many so called peace officers in combat gear, Too many cases of peace officers busting into homes and are at the wrong address. The video of peace officers roughing up the ex Marine over the weekend are just common now.
The founders wanted Govt. to fear the citizen, not the other way around.
Well if First Amendment rights are to be violated, I cannot think of a better group than Journalists to have their a$$ in the slammer.
Journalists have been selling this country down the river for decades and as we can no longer depend upon them to expose the excesses of government at all levels it is poetic justice to see them harassed by the very same gestapo they support.
We know the vast majority of Journalists would love to see us lose our 2nd Amendment rights. Commie loving pukes deserve no better.
Why? If a cop says to jump will you lick his boots after?
And should this Marine just do what the cop says? Or is there a limit to what cops can tell you to do?
