So, it is OK to kill the symbol of our country - the magnificent Bald Eagle for the sake of wind energy?
Out here in West Texas, we may not be able to drill because of a stupid lizard!
I hate libs.
Global Warming (carbon credits and much regulation and kickbacks), Green Energy (multi-billion dollar loans that don't get paid back), subsidized electric cars that couldn't pull a greased stick out of a cat's a$$....that's where the real money is at, folks.
The expansion of politically correct crony capialism continues.
“Hypocrisy” is definitely the first word that comes to mind.
Instead of the Hippocratic Oath, like doctors, they all take the Hypocritic Oath.
For the true believers the ends always justify the means.
WELCOME TO THE OBAMA IDIOCRACY
Another martyr to the Green Energy Cult.
We can’t drill in Alaska because there is speculation about Caribeau impact.
We can’t drill in W. Texas because of a lizard.
We can’t drill in Oregan because of an Owl.
We can’t drill in the Gulf because of shrimp.
We can’t drill in Michigan because they are all liberals.
We can’t upgrade refineries (make cleaner) near Chicago because of Lake Michigan.
BUT, we it’s ok to kill Bald Eagles with wind turbines.
>They love their wind turbines more than they love the magnificent birds that are the symbol of our nation.<
.
Did you ever doubt that? The “greenies” goal is not the salvation of endangered species but, simply stated, money.
Better a bald eagle on the ground than the loss of one windmill.
But what is even more omninous is that these very windmills could be the cause of real climate change — something that wind turbines were supposed to have prevented.
Ground temperatures are to decrease during the night because the cooler air descends while hot air ascends.
By installing the windturbines, causing subsequent air turbulence at ground level, the cold air does not get a chance to settle on the ground and ground temperatures remain higher than normal.
This process is repeated every day, and ground temperatures continue to rise without the chance of cooling during the nocturnal hours.
The general weather pattern in the US is from west to east. Winds blowing from the west pass through the turbine fields in California, Arizona and New Mexico on their way to Texas.
To make a long story short — Texas is not getting the moisture that it once received before these ugly structures were installed.
Ohhh I bet the Indian tribes are lining up for the feathers!
The hypocrisy I’ve noticed for years, is the greenies throwing a hissy fit over landfills and high-tension lines blighting the pristine countryside. Yet, wiping out hundreds of square miles of same countryside with wind farms and solar cells is A-OK.
>Nothing demonstrates the hypocrisy of the left better than this article.<
