Harvard professor Charles Ogletree is a friend of Barack Obama. Here he is at Al Sharpton’s National Action Network Convention yesterday, declaring,
“I want to see the first white victim of the stand your ground by a black defendant and see if it works.”
Stand your ground is a reference to the legality (until yesterday) of defending yourself from thugs who are bashing your head against the sidewalk in an attempt to kill you. Not even a Harvard professor could be so detached from reality as not to realize that this remark will be interpreted as encouragement to pick fights with whites, then kill them if they fight back.
When this happens, it will be reported in the local media only.
If Obama were the president of all Americans rather than just black Americans and well-to-do moonbats, he would make some attempt to tamp this rhetoric down rather than contributing to it.

You are missing the Axelrod/Holder strategy at work. This not about firing up the blaqck base, it is about setting fires. The little barry bastard administration cannot survive a fair and honest exposure of his regime, so the use of Kenayan/Odinga style violence is meant to suppress the voter opposition turnout in November. The thug administration is counting on fear to squelch barry’s opposition. It has worked thus far with the feckless pubby congress, so these thugs from chicago figure it will work on the voters. BLOAT, we may not have elections in November.

Okay Chuckie, first we need a fully accepted, nationwide culture of whie violence.
Then we need to instill enough insecurity and self-hate into those white people to induce them to gang activity and preying about 97% of the time on other white people.
Last, on the 3% or so of the time that these whit people can be expected to attack non-whites, we will have to hope they encounter a black “victim” who is legally armed (that’ll be tricky) and then the stand-your-ground law can be tested.

I happen to think that most of the people in this country are non-violent, with the exception of some criminals who rely on violence. Most Americans don’t go looking for trouble; they just deal with it when trouble finds them.
Instead of blaming the young kids for the violence, why not blame their elders who are supposedly more mature, but incite the violence anyway?

Ignorant affirmative action buffoon ought to realize how rare it is that a black has to "stand his ground" against a white thug these days.
Actually, I would support any legitimate “Stand Your Ground” defense, regardless of the color of the parties. If the aggressive scumbag happened to be white, and he was threatening a black citizen...if the white scumbag wound up dead on the street, more power to the black citizen.
The phrasing of “I want to see the...victim” is abhorrent. One shouldn’t want to see such - but I think he might be surprised at those of us who would support the defendant in such a case.
In all fairness, if an honest black citizen is attacked by a criminal white citizen, with criminal purpose, I am entirely happy that the black citizen defend themselves, and if this rises to the level of lethal force, there should be no difference in how the event is treated before the law. That is, full exoneration for the honest black citizen.
However, I can we imagine that if statistics hold true, honest black citizens will be using lethal force in defending themselves against criminal black citizens in a much higher ratio.

This being said, professor Ogletree should support the notion that honest black citizens should vigorously profile young black men as being the most likely threat to their well being.
Hussein’s minions are pushing for a race war so he can declare martial law and become permant dictator. That’s why Homeland inSecurity made the huge purchase of ammo recently - and you can bet they aren’t planning on using it to control Holder’s people.
Of course...they key is who's the agressor and who's the law abiding citizen.The honest citizen gets to defend him/herself regardless of race.The aggressor gets what for...regardless of race.
