I’m ahead of the curve. After Sarah, I went for Newt. It was only logical, but a huge disappointment. Now Santorum people have to get over this disappointment and get smart.

I’m very confused because Newt doesn’t seem to be running any longer.

I was happy to vote for Newt when MA had its primary. Didn’t mean much then, but for those who have upcoming primaries, it means a lot.

It just seems that way because the media is refusing to cover him.

s I recall, a few months ago, Gingrich gave a masterful debate performance. Got a standing ovation, and gave the press a beat-down. At the next debate, Gingrich got TWO standing ovations and humiliated the stupid journalist “moderating” the debate on Obama’s behalf.

It was at that point that the media decided it was a two man race: Santorum and Romney. They basically cut off coverage of Gingrich entirely — because he was popular and effective.

Now the media wants people to think that Romney is the only guy in the race.

With Santorum out, where can Newt win?

Connecticut 28
Delaware 17
New York 95
Rhode Island 19
Oregon 28
California 172
New Jersey 50
New Mexico 23
Montana 26
Utah 40

(Gingrich has to win 18 from the above list, hope no other independent GOP-e delegates switch, then sweep all of the following (or make up the difference out of the above):)

Pennsylvania 72
Indiana 46
North Carolina 55
West Virginia 41
Arkansas 36
Kentucky 45
Texas 155
South Dakota 28
Nebraska 35

I suppose it is not impossible.

Thanks for the ammo (quote, endorsement) for this article. We must persist - we must stop Romney! We still have a choice.

A-freakin-men. Great post; and the most sense I’ve seen around here lately as well.

If these conservatives ditch Newt for Santorum, what make anyone now believe they will now go for Newt. I have little faith in these individuals that did not realize that Santorum would never have gone the whole way. He was in over his head. The only real Constitutional conservative is Newt. Obvious! Just points out that most voters are incapable of rational thought.

I’m still absolutely convinced that Newt Gingrich is the junkyard dog we need to rip Obama a new one and send him slinking back to his Chicago doghouse with his tail between his legs. Newt has plenty of DC experience as Speaker, executive ability from his many enterprises, and a silver tongue that’s razor sharp! He’s fast on his feet, delivers it straight up with no hemming and hawing, and is often witty. His work with American Solutions was very impressive and as we’ve seen recently, Newt is able to put into words what the vast majority of Americans really believe. His fevered brain also has plenty of ideas for making government work better for taxpayers. Is Newt pure as the driven snow? No - none of the presidential candidates are in line for sainthood. Whatever Newt’s “baggage”, it pales next to Obama’s habitual lying and outright corruption - and unlike Obama, Newt is 100% American! Newt is like Larry the Cable Guy: send him to DC and he’ll “Get ‘er done” for all of us. Newt has “Been there, done that! Junkyard dogs are not show dogs, but they’ll save your bacon!

I am damn mad at what Obama and his fawning bootlickers have stolen from us - you should be too - and I want someone to represent me! Newt Gingrich is that man! Sic ‘im, Newt!

I can’t wait for the Texas primary to finally get here, so that I can cast my first vote as a Texan for Newt.

Here’s the deal: If you really like Newt and think he’s the one to go to bat for you, you need to send him some cold hard cash TODAY. $25 for a chance to secure our Republic is a good investment I think.

I’m all in for Newt. I hope Santorum does the same and backs him 100% ... and very vocally. The conservative vote should no longer be split now that one of them has backed out.

Go, Newt, go!

Thank you very much, but I’m no longer a “rational” conservative who will bend over for the RINO “R” and let them screw me again. I’m a born-again hard, pro-god, pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty, pro-constitution, pro-limited government, pro-defense, pro-borders, pro-gun, pro-drill, pro-economic freedom, pro-traditional America, pro-DECLARATION (and all of its underlying principles and ramifications), stick it to the GOP establishment elite, stick it to the Marxist/socialists, REBELLIOUS conservative!!

I will not vote for the abortionist, homosexualist, gun-grabbing, socialized healthcare pushing, global warming pushing, constitution trampling, big government, anti-liberty Keynesian, compulsive liar, Mitt Romney under any circumstances whatsoever!! He is exactly what we the tea party have been fighting against these last several years.

And they can quote me on the above.

Damn the RINOS, full steam ahead!!

Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God!!

We are the resistance!!

We will defend our God given Liberty tooth and nail from all wannabe usurpers and tyrants, so help me GOD!!

I've been a Newtster for quite a while and will vote for him in the PA primary.

If mittens gets 1144 and is the pubbie nominee, I'll be self banning from FR because I'm not going to sit back and watch obama get a second term and not vote for the pubbie candidate {no matter who it is}.

My primary has passed. Those voters who still can should vote for their favored candidate. That’s the way it works. This thing will shake out fast now. Newt has only won two states, one of them his home state of Georgia.

If Newt doesn’t win decisively in the upcoming primary voting, the little money coming in will dry up.

I voted Newt, but I think he’s done. Prove me wrong, I’ll be glad to be wrong on this one.
