DITTO. Had Mormon missionaries come to my door. They were polite and I was polite. I simply told them that I do not agree with the Book of Mormons because the Bible is finalized and Christians can not add anything to it. They realize they cannot shake my position, but we all agree to disagree. That is the extent of my dealings with Mormons on faith. They seem to respect my position and left me alone.
If Americans behave like Mormons, no drinking, no tobacco, no profanity, strong work ethics, strong family values, stockpiling food and etc for emergencies. Be willing to help out neighbors and etc, the US would be a better place. Most Mormons I met are polite and exercise strong self control. If one of them wants to be POTUS I have no problems.

Just on your point that it would be a better world if we lived as Mormons do (I paraphrase) .....

Well aside from the Biblical wrongs they are involved in, Mitt Romney was pro abortion and pro gay marriage..YES HE WAS, and yet he was not condemned by any Mormons for holding anti life views, they lined up to support him anyway.

So they had no problem with Mittens supporting murder of God`s children etc, and for gay marriage and all the trimmings, so aside from their wrong view of the Bible, I am not interested in their so called family values.

Just my opinion, was not suggesting for a moment that you sided in any way with the Mormon belief...absolutely not, just sharing my thoughts on their “family values”
