While sitting in service, I was jarred by a verse that we read about unleavened bread. It covered both foreign and "Native-born".
Exodus 12:19 For seven days no yeast is to be found in your houses. And anyone, whether foreigner or native-born, who eats anything with yeast in it must be cut off from the community of Israel.
hmm, so this whole natural born stuff isn't some uniquely American "racists" thing that our founders invented? Recognition of native or natural born is something people of other nations and people have always been concerned with. Why? Anyway, I thought it was fascinating and thought many of you would, too.

Sourdough is produced by natural yeasts that are in the air, isn’t it? Would sourdough be considered evil?

"You Americans are so gullible. No, you wont accept Communism outright.
But we will keep feeding you small doses of socialism
until you finally wake up and realize you already have communism.
We wont have to fight you; well so weaken your economy
that you will fall like over ripe fruit into our hands. "
Nikita Kruschev, Former Soviet Premier
Didn't our Heavenly Father, through our Savior tell us...
" thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother."
How well we deserve this curse (~so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things~) God has given us,
through the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT IN CHIEF, the FASCIST Obama.
Someone once ask, "When is violence for political purposes justified?"...
Thomas Jefferson once said that, "When the government fears the people, there is liberty.
When the people fear the government, there is tyranny."
So, in light of the minor outbreaks of violence we've been seeing lately, I ask We have a second amendment to help protect us from the government, when is it acceptable to take up arms?
At what point does violence become the correct response?
I recommend the following for your valuable time, to ponder... (all 37 pages)
Violence, Nonviolence, and the American Revolution
All things written in the Bible must come to pass,
and we WILL get to the day worse than has ever been.
And this too shall pass...
They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor,
and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them;
ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.
For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
Can you remember reading about "a thorn in their side"?
"But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes,
and thorns in your sides,
and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them."
The command I await is...
"Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them".
Obama, and his Marxist minions, SHALL be gathered and bound.

I didn’t say that yeast IS evil but that in the Old Testament yeast REPRESENTS evil. That said, sourdough would not be kosher during the Passover/Unleavened Bread week.

I would call bread evil. During the week of unleavened bread, it just represents sin and is a lessen on removing sin from our lives. It is a short, 1 week sacrifice.
How long does sour dough bread take to become leavened? I have never made any.

Once the starter gets working, about 2-3 days, it stays active as long as it is fed. The bread is made like normal bread.
