Nonsense. We don't know how close they were.

If I'm six feet from someone, he pulls a gun and I think he is about to fire, damn straight I'd charge him. I would think that, poor as it is, it's my only chance.

I have no idea if that's what happened, but this analysis, at least in this respect, is not logical. IMO.

All the 911 calls, Initial police reports and other information was posted online by the City of Sanford, so the True information can be read and heard. In the article you posted it still says Zimmerman just out and called Martin "black", when in truth he was asked by the dispatcher, "Is he white, hispanic, or black?" Zimmermon says; "He looks black."

Martin spoke first to Zimmerman, not the other way around. I think Martin approached Zimmerman’s car from the direction of the clubhouse, passed the car and then bolted. Zimmerman then rounded the corner and hid. Zimmerman pursued until being asked to stop but lost Martin. As Zimmerman turned to head back to his car, Martin came out of hiding and confronted Zimmerman.

I think you meant “Martin” where I have bolded “Zimmerman."
