Remember the gas engines they retrofitted to diesel in the early 'eighties? They were 20,000 mile engines. And when they failed, it was the owner's fault.
"Instead of occasionally catching fire, they will now not catch fire that often ... or always catch fire ... I'm PR, I don't understand this technical stuff"
Obamawagen
The owners’ fault?
I thought these people were so smart, you know, buying “SmartCars” and all that.
I own a large, powerful SUV, so they must be at least 37 times smarter than me. Right?
Given that, categorically, every single owner of a Chevy Volt is a blithering idiot, it seems like a sensible strategy to blame them for all of it’s woes.
I send all these Volt stuff to a guy I know who bought one...seldom get any response - - wonder why ;-)
Fox should be ashamed of themselves.
GM: Hey, you!! In the VOLT!! You liberal do-gooder Obama-bowing crazy leftist.... yes you.... YOU are the problem!!!
lol.
Listen... I will NEVER own a volt and since obomba's GM stole all my stock in the company when he took office I will NEVER own another GM product. I don't care it does somersaults, flies or orally messages my loins 24 hours a day.
I am a GM man from way back that has now turned my back on GM. Ford has always been considered a piece of junk in our homes but now... After Toyota and Honda I would own a Ford in a heartbeat before a GM product.
I wonder how much of my money went into producing that ridiculous infomercial?
Any idiot buying one of these things deserves to be blamed.
For everything.
Well we know GM is on that snake Obama’s side. Never stand up. What cowards.
The nice thing about a catastrophic failure like the Volt is that GM can probably replace charging cords for all 9,500 Volts for less that it costs to write the press release on the repair.
The Chevy Volt, you can drive it or heat your home with it. </sarc>
“Let’s use the taxpayer’s money to buy off the media.”
“God, I love this country.”

Who has an “experience” when charging something electrical?
I just plug the charger cord into my cell phone - perhaps I'm missing an experience here?
What can I do to have a real experience?....:^)
I am no electrician, but I know when a power cord heats up that thing is sucking down energy like crazy
I have a welder that doesn’t heat the cord.
What is it costing a month to charge one of those expensive golf carts.
