The Intel Hub alerts us to a shocking new defense contract entered by the Department of Homeland Security to secure a massive amount of ammunition, with the option for infinite supply, infinite delivery.
ATK Awarded Contract to Supply 450 Million Rounds of .40 Caliber Ammunition to the Department of Homeland Security
ATK has secured a major Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity deal to supply up to 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition to the Department of Homeland Security.
The 1 year contract with four option years comes at a time when many Americans believe that DHS, along with certain aspects of the military, will soon turn their sights on the American people during some sort of martial law scenario.
“We are proud to extend our track record as the prime supplier of .40 caliber duty ammunition for DHS, ICE,” said Ron Johnson, the president of ATK’s Security and Sporting group,” reported a PR Newswire release.
The Department of Homeland Security has been extremely busy in the last few months.

I have a .40 and my wife hates it but in a SHTF or emergency, she could handle it, just not her preference. The thing about women is, if they are afraid of the gun, they probably shouldn’t be using it. Lots of range time can change uncomfortable to comfortable. Mine won’t still won’t go near a 12 gauge and she’s not fond of the .45 either.
A couple days ago in Austin, an undercover cop plowed into an innocent person’s car injuring the driver and passenger. No lights or siren but in a high speed pursuit. Funny that didn’t make the 5 o’clock news, huh.

OK, according to a freepmail somebody sent me, the 450 million rounds is the -maximum- potential order and includes options going out for four years. For DHS and ICE.
I don’t know how many employees there are between those two departments, but I’ll take a wild guess at 20,000. Using that number, then 450,000,000/20,000=22,500 per person. If they practice once a week for four years, that works out to be just over 100 rounds a week for practice ammo. Two boxes.
Sure there’s a lot of guesswork in that arithmetic, but it doesn’t sound so scary.

Make it widely known by posting on all firearm ownership supportive websites that everyone wearing a suit and even suspected of giving or supporting the orders to round up American citizens for re-education in a “FEMA camp” will become the target of Patriot snipers.
Let this become widely well known to all bureaucrats and government officials. Announce that they will instantly become a target on the 24/7 360degree range. This includes at their government offices, at their private residences and anywhere in between.

Add up the numbers of elected officials, bureaucrats and government employees. All of them, federal, state, and city. There is millions more of us than there is of them.
There is roughly 1 LEO for every 1000 citizens. Bring over the entire army from two or three foreign countries and add them to ours. The odds are still 500 to 1 in our favor. Those aren’t good odds.

But what a joke it is to talk about November as if the RNC RINO establishment critters are any different, fundamentally, from the Kenyan in Chief. And Lord forbid one mentions, in this forum, any other than the Approved Candidates. No, sorry. Ayers and the rest of them be damned, I honestly wonder whether Mitt Romney and his Massachusetts minions care a whit more for Constititional principles and individual liberty than the current President. Naturally however we’ll continue to go with the lesser of two evils, time after time, as taxes increase, freedoms erode, more and more cameras are installed and the Fed gets more and more powerful over the flags we proudly wave.

The GOP leadership has shot itself in the foot on this one, and what is really ironic they appear to be going after any opposition to their intentions...Regardless if it is a rival or a potential ally...If that ally has a different idea than the “expected one”...
I am glad your wife can use if needed. But this was the reason why govt went from 10mm to .40 Cal.
